What difference would a Steam release make? Even if Nintendo kicks up a fuss it won't matter as you can still get it elsewhere..
Not the first time it's been referenced. Valve said years ago that it wasn't in development, but of course things change. L4D3 was supposedly almost finished at one point but development stopped because Source 2 was still incomplete.
Most of the time you get people saying a third game isn't needed as there's nothing to improve upon anyways, which is complete nonsense. I have to wonder if those that say such things have junk computers or something. Why they...
That was pretty fast.
I wonder if Ray Kurzweil is still right about his prediction for 2029 having smart AI.. I've seen numerous things recently suggesting AGI is getting much closer than thought before, seen some arguments against it not happening or not possible, but more for it than against.
It is getting quite advanced though, generating images from text, generating music from text, getting information by asking it something, and now even mapping...
Yes people who like Nintendo games buy a Nintendo console. And then Nintendo screws over their fans by rehashing the same stuff with little change, and keeping wanted game sequels from ever being made.
Yeah. I myself do not think it looks bad by any means, things look a lot more detailed in general if you take a good look at the textures and compare with Source 1, and I do like the clean look of the graphics. It's just a bit disappointing when Valve used to be right at the top graphics wise as well as with the gameplay.
Seen some people complain about the graphics and others saying things to the effect of:
"CS has never had good graphics because it's made to run on low end hardware"
That's not really true. CSS and HL2DM both came out in 2004 and had fairly high end graphics for the time just like HL2.
What's happened here is that Valve took a long time to really do anything with Source 2, for example, L4D2 screens leaked in 2014 ...
What's baffling is that everyone copies Mario Kart, I think Crash Team Racing is probably the only exception as far as I know which has more to it at least for single player, like Diddy Kong Racing.
#1 use for it should be used for curing cancer and ageing. But companies are more interested in money than curing a disease.
So Valve can still make games, other than HL Alyx where's everything else?? This engine should've had a bunch of games by now.. I know there's S&box but I mean it's not made by Valve so..
Odd that they put things like this into adult games, I mean it would make sense if there were more mature turtles films or animated series, but ok.
I haven't seen the newer films unless they got the idea from those. Still don't see how Shredder fits into COD though. Also what's up with calling him "The Shredder?" It's like Batman/The Batman, what's next.. The Spiderman?
You mean like Half Life 2 and online DM did.. In 2004.....
Looks about as fun as Smash Bros.. AKA shallow and gets boring fast.
Woke simulator is what it looks like, pandering nonsense again.
The best version according to DF
Console fanboys will claw at anything they can. Articles rarely mention you can plug your Quest 2 into your PC directly or wirelessly as well to get a better experience, conveniently *cough* for them. Quest 3 is also not far away.
PC gets the best version of the RE 4 remake though 🤣 PS5 is decent, but PC = higher FPS, better texture quality and higher resolution if you have a 4k screen.
Some people also use their PC for things other than gaming, ...
Nope, have to pander to woke and weak snowflakes. That's also UK in a nutshell.
PC version looks the best and sharpest version according to DF. Quite a difference in clarity cuz the consoles can't run native 4k and have lower res textures.
S&box devs already have access to Source 2 and have done for a while.
DOTA 2 was Source 2 but hardly anyone noticed/cared because it wasn't one of the Valve games most wanted. L4D3 was scrapped because Source 2 wasn't ready and buggy.
Half Life Alyx has been the only official Source 2 game that people notice so far.. The engine still looks pretty good graphically, but it looked far more impressive back in 2014 when the leaked plantation level ...
And not rehashing the same tired games over and over with 0 difference in gameplay except graphics. Plenty of great games they can bring back apart from the usual.
Maybe you're just tired of open world games. I prefer Mario 3D World/Land for example because it's more linear, but still a little open for exploration.
