@lodossrage I think the easiest way to define it is pretty much like everything has to be PC, or they get their panties in a twist.. Kinda similar to being a snowflake, like they stand for everything non-offensive and everything has to go by the rules.
Too bad Nintendo has to rip people off and there'll be others to take his place.. AKA Nintendo are wasting their time thinking they're stopping hackers and the difference it will make overall is slim to none.
I'm not sure how popular they are these days, but during 1999 in the dial up days Worms 2 was great. I started getting into online FPS in late 01 early 02 though once I first had broadband.
Much rather play a Worms game over chess though for sure.. Armageddon still gets updated today. I think this is the type of game they made way too many different versions of and some were pretty much not needed. One definitive game is only needed every so many years and they can just...
60fps should be the bare minimum, hell my first taste of high hz was in 2012 with a 120hz 1080p screen, and have upgraded screens more than once since then. 90+fps is simply superior and I can even tell when I'm playing at 60fps as the motion simply isn't as smooth. It might be harder to tell on console with certain games due to slower panning with the controller though.
Kekw.. Controlling speech now just like the UK does. How lame and oppressive.
Valve's anti cheat is also BS because they won't take the ban off even if your account was hacked and cheated on, because your account is your responsibility, but they give back hacked steam wallet funds.. Nice sense there Valve.
Not sure I understand, unless you are getting at the fact that controllers are kinda sucky for FPS? In which case I agree.
As for "Glorious 60FPS" as said in the article, I would say 90 and above is noticeably smoother.
Previous handhelds were good for playing in bed on your side. The Switch & Steam Deck are much more awkward because they're a lot bigger.. unless you use one of those gooseneck holders, or something.
Yeah for something like this I would agree, you can tell the movement is also noticeably slower still than say HL2. If you're gonna play this at all you may as well play it in VR as that's what it was made for. I've yet to play it but will this year, maybe when Quest 3 comes out or something.
Not always though. Some people complained Mario World was too difficult originally, so it was made easier because people cried about it. Too bad really because it really could've done with being a bit more difficult later on. Excluding Star Road because it was possible to beat the game without going through it.
I heard that it wouldn't have been all that difficult to make the original mostly 3D, I personally think it would've been better. The 2nd game is noticeably better though. Bit like looking at GTA 3 then VC and SA, the first 2D game is a bit rough and same for the first 3D game.
If you want unrestricted VR you'd have to get a decent PC to go along with the Quest 2. Not that it's an issue for me, I like video editing every so often which makes having decent hardware worth it. The more you want to do with a PC besides gaming means it's a better investment.
Yes because you wouldn't want a better looking PC version.. good logic.
That's not to bash PS5 as it would still look/run good, just not as good as it could.
Kinda baffling why they didn't use the Master System versions of the games, not even sure why they felt the need to zoom in so much with the Game Gear versions, would've been nice if you could choose zoomed in or not.
I thought it was Zelda for a couple of seconds because of the background, maybe it triggered some Nintendo fans. Well.. that's all i got anyway lol
Dude, if it acts like a person, talks like a person.. Etc, would it matter? It's not really "programmed" to be anything as far as I know ATM.
Nvidia and now AMD are upping prices, they have been steadily rising for a while now. Apparently there's loads of stock hanging around in warehouses of certain cards, hopefully that continues and then they'll have no choice but to lower prices.
There's a chance next gen will be much better price/performance, it happened going from 2000 - 3000 series.
I'm mostly only familiar with the original cartoon which is probably why then. I did see at least one of the live action movies but don't remember much of it.
To be fair it's supposed to be (mostly) an adult/mature game, but you'd think otherwise given how infested with kids these kinda games usually are.
Ideally a cheap 3060Ti would be enough for the console ports, as that's roughly what they're equal to or a bit under, so yeah. It's just lazy ports going on.. The new RE performs great from what little I know.
Shame the camera swaying immediately puts me off, not a fan of that stuff at all.
