People are probably just pissed that they'll potentially see spoilers pop up over YouTube etc.. But that goes for anything, games or movies, just try and avoid it.
For some that's worth it, a PC can do a lot more than a console, video editing is just one of many reasons, better performance than a console is another.
This is literally the "L4D is god" crowd. It takes some mental gymnastics to keep praising a game that you keep playing over and over which is now actually kind of empty and somewhat bland, fun in short bursts, that's about it.
PC games have pretty much always been cheaper than on consoles, I remember buying a few PC games in Argos back in 99 for like £12-£14 roughly, like Worms 2 & Virtual Springfield.
They shouldn't have named it as an obvious reference as a L4D successor, it kind of feels like one.. but at the same time it's not. It was made with just co-op in mind, enemy player control feels tacked on, L4D enemies were obviously created to be controlled by both players and AI, plus they were created more carefully for most situations. Killing Floor 2 had the same problem and now hardly anyone plays the VS mode because of it. In both games you just play in an arena trying to beat ...
It was ok for the time, the only way you'd get superior controls is by playing on PC with a mouse, the same still stands today though. I think Goldeneye and Perfect Dark were the last games i enjoyed before i didn't really enjoy playing any FPS with a controller due to getting used to my PC controls.
Not even seen Daniel Craig bond films, looked more like a villain to me when they first revealed him.
Well now you know what's gonna happen.. Barely any support post launch, but i mean, at least there's Quest 2 that you can hook up to your PC and use its hardware to power your games.
Can't disagree here, I'd rather them focus on a new Quake in the style of the original, which i believe they are interested in. I don't want them taking Halo and having it interfere with development of their other games and potential delays. I've been wanting a new Quake for ages.
I'm still pissed that Raven Software sold the Soldier of Fortune series to Cauldron which have now basically forgot that the series exists.
True, obviously it's gonna age.. Even Half Life has and that was one of my first PC games. Doesn't mean the gameplay sucks though.
I've wondered what a Dreamcast equivalent GTA could've looked like at the time, I'd say it could've been similar to this.. and probably more fun than GTA 3 was, as IMO it was just ok but a little rough and nowhere near as fun as future games in the series.
Simpsons Hit & Run was pretty enjoyable though, i just wish Homer had more missions.
Wrong, sexualized nudity = pornographic content. That's the definition of Ecchi, softcore.
So rubbing your breasts together in a sexual manner is not porn and is fine for kids to watch in your reasoning.. which is obviously absolute rubbish.
Senran Kagura games are basically softcore so i mean yea.. And that's before you even get into the more adult stuff.
Yeah, i really enjoyed Goldeneye 64 and Perfect Dark as well back in the day, but after getting into PC gaming in 99 it's just so hard to play some games with a controller, FPS games being the obvious #1 target here. Can't wait to see what it's like, here's to hoping it stays true to the original and i might have to get it on PC, especially if it has decent online multiplayer on top of a great campaign.
Indeed, if you want pure performance you'd get a decent PC for that. The Deck looks decent for low to kinda moderately demanding games though.
Looks damn good so far, character models look decent but was hoping they'd be a bit more realistic, everything else looks great though.
Now to wait for more info, previews and to decide whether to go PC or PS5.
Most of the newer games were too easy, IMO easy = boring. Luckily there's some with decent challenge, especially once you beat the main game and unlock the harder mode.
Most likely the ones complaining are stuck on mid/low level hardware that's 4+ years old. Then they complain that games are too demanding when upgrading maybe once every 10 years. Lol
Right, and better performance/textures than consoles = higher spec requirements. I mean it makes sense, if you can't afford decent PC hardware then just stick to consoles.
Yeah I remember reading an article or something stating that Dreamcast controllers didn't even have this problem.
