Huh? It comes out in two weeks and these numbers are for last week.
This reminds me of Rockstar's relationship with Take-Two. Rockstar does what Rockstar wants, when Rockstar wants, with as much time and money as Rockstar needs. Five years and $260 million for GTA V? Sure thing! And it definitely pays off for Take-Two, as GTA V is the highest rated and best-selling game of last year. 97 on Metacritic? Over 30 million units sold in 3 months? Yep, let Rockstar do whatever the hell they want!
Good point. The PS3 sold faster than the PS2 but it will not sell even close to as many units overall. Not to mention the Xbox One is, just like the PS4, selling faster than the first three PlayStation consoles yet people consider it "doomed". LOL, funny how that works!
With the Xbox One version of Titanfall sitting atop all games on the pre-order charts ( http://www.vgchartz.com/pre... ) and with four times more pre-orders than the 360 or PC version, I imagine quite a bit of those people have yet to buy an Xbox One. Of any game announced for either the PS4 or Xbox One, Titanfall is the closest to a system seller that I can think of... Aside from Halo 5, of course.
Looks like a bit of lag between tapping the screen and the bird moving, but nonetheless very impressive. It looks virtually identical to the actual game.
When multiplatform games performed worse on the PS3, the fanboys always blamed the developers for being "lazy". It was not the fault of the PS3 architecture, but "lazy" or "incompetent" developers. Wonder where those people are now? Oh yeah, it's Xbox this time so the double standards ensue again.
Early adopters are going to be core gamers so I would expect this percent to go down over time.
And meanwhile, the PS4 was largely focused on games yet the Xbox One is sporting the better game lineup. Ah, the irony!
I don't understand. If Microsoft is paying them to give it good scores, then why would they give it bad scores? And why would you derive pleasure from the disappointment of others?
Correct, and that date is a Saturday as well. Almost all games release on Tuesdays in North America.
I bet we'll see a Gears trilogy pack on one Blu-Ray disc for Xbox One to catch players up for the release of Gears of War 4.
GTA V. Well deserved!
Sleeping Dogs came out in 2012 and it was free earlier this month. How do you explain that, sir?
Cool! There are not many games that you can play for hundreds of hours and continue to see new things. GTA is one of them! It's sad that a lot of people fail to appreciate the small details.
Well, that's unfortunate.
I've seen nothing but praise from everyone who has played it. It's almost a sure hit.
@Patrick_pk44 "Why should I grind for cash, when someone can easily buy it and unlock everything in a matter of minutes"
You can't have played much of the online to believe that is true. Most things are level locked. You can not simply purchase currency and go buy everything. You must have reached the appropriate level to unlock items for purchase. So even with exploiters handing out billions of dollars, you still could not buy a carbine rifle until level 42 or ...
I hope the warranty covers vomiting all over the device. I can't even imagine the motion sickness I would get from this.
Just like the original Gears of War sank with its 4 v 4 multiplayer? Ha!
Destiny has gotten a lot more coverage than TitanFall, though. It's just been the last couple of weeks where we have received an onslaught of Titanfall coverage, and the pre-orders are reflecting that.
