The lighting in GTA V really is remarkable. It makes the whole world look so natural and believable. The way the light reflects off different surfaces is perfect and makes every object feel tangible, like it belongs in the world. Los Santos can look nearly photo-realistic at certain times of the day and vastly better than Watch Dogs on ANY platform, in my opinion.
Rockstar truly are masters at crafting a believable open world. The level of detail in every inch of Los Santos i...
At least with a professional review, you know the person actually played the game in question. People can cry that a reviewer is biased or paid off all day. I don't listen to that nonsense. But an alarmingly large percent of user reviews seem to be 0s or 10s from people who have likely never played the game, and certainly not completed it.
Whether they're driven by their blind hatred of a certain console, or they're a huge Mario fan who will immediately review all...
Guess they want to counter Microsoft's conference airing live on SPIKE TV to a larger audience. This is shaping up to be one of the most exciting E3s in years!
@JeffGUNZ It's free in theaters.
I don't see how Rockstar extending their trademark is any indication of an impending announcement. That's just standard business practice.
I don't much care for Aisha Tyler as host, but I'm excited to see the Ubisoft press conference because they tend to have the games I'm most interested in. I'm very excited to see Far Cry 4 and more of The Division.
I just can't imagine any developer being able to create an open world as rich with detail as GTA V. Rockstar basically gets an unlimited budget and unlimited time to create their games. Sure, Watch_Dogs will have higher-res textures and whatnot, but they simply won't be able to match the level of detail that Rockstar packs into their worlds, with every single building being unique and handcrafted.
There's just something about the look of GTA V, everything looks so...
We are barely 6 months into the lives of these new consoles, so it's crazy to predict who will come out on top of a cycle that could last 6+ years. Just look how different the state of the 360/PS3/Wii was at the end of the gen compared to 2006. A million things could happen during the course of this gen so there is absolutely no way to accurately predict an outcome. The only things predictions are good for are to look back on in a few years and have a good laugh about.
At least Microsoft's remakes are of games that released before last year.
I highly doubt they would have scrapped the project if it was actually going anywhere or had potential.
925,000 is from NPD, which is only US sales. The VGChartz number, whether accurate or not, is worldwide.
If last E3 is anything to go by, then I will expect Microsoft to have all the big game announcements.
You can say the exact same for Sony; just replace Kinect with the PlayStation Camera.

That scene in TLOU where you have to start the generator down in the hotel basement felt more frightening and intense than any moments I can recall in recent Resident Evil. Go back to the horror roots, Capcom!
There is still no open world game that can match the downright absurd level of detail in GTA V's Los Santos. Sure, Watch Dogs will have higher res textures and the like, but I doubt any game will be able to match the natural look and feel of Rockstar's hyper detailed world. At least, of course, until GTA VI! I cannot even imagine how incredible that game will look with Rockstar's talent and insane budget on the new consoles.

I'm afraid you're mistaken about the Xbox One. The previous month, VGChartz undertracked the Xbox One by over 100,000 units! They predicted 145K, and NPD had the XB1 at 258K for the month.
See the second chart down on this page:

Sure, VGC undertracks the PS4 as well, but don't turn this into another conspiracy. VGChartz is not...

I did a search on your claims and I found an article stating that 71% of Titanfall's sales LAST WEEK in the UK were on the 360. That was launch week for the 360 version and week 5 for the XB1 version. I highly doubt the 360 version's week 1 sales were even close to the XB1 version's considering the XB1 version had nearly 5 TIMES as many pre-orders as the 360 version at launch.
Titanfall has been presented first and foremost as an Xbo...
Tell that to the 4+ million people who already own the console!
I expect Microsoft to have the better showing because the pressure is on them. Sony is in a much more comfortable position, while Microsoft is backed into a corner and that's when you come out guns blazing.
