I remember some tedious multiplayer trophies that required a boosting partner. Don’t know if those online trophies would be in the rerelease.
Twitter? I think you mean Bluesky.
GTA IV’s realism is what made it so much more fun for me. I loved experimenting with the physics.
It said “all players and screamers” back in the 2023 teaser as well. But I’d imagine it would come to all platforms because Microsoft is in the business of making money.
I agree with this. I haven’t played another 3rd person shooter with such satisfying combat and stealth as TLOU2. The stealth doesn’t feel gamey, it feels natural to move around, go prone, and avoid detection. And when you get into combat, it is very intense with excellent enemy AI and satisfying realism and gore.
Few games excel at both stealth and open combat. Usually they do one really well and the other feels subpar. In those games you will either avoid stealth altogethe...
Interestingly, 11 of the top 20 games are owned by Microsoft.
This is actually crazy. You pay $200 more solely to get better performance, and you get worse performance… Wow.
I didn’t realize either. I knew they had been part of Eurogamer, but it looks like Eurogamer was acquired by IGN last year.
13 hours is short now? I was thinking 5 or 6 hours after reading the headline. Shorter is usually better, especially for a linear, narrative-focused game. Not every game needs to be absolutely bloated with filler.
I think the 360 lineup in Fall 2007 is still the greatest games lineup of all time. In a span of just 3 months, we got:
BioShock
Skate
Halo 3
The Orange Box
COD4
Assassin’s Creed
Mass Effect
Rock Band
Guitar Hero 3
In such a small window, there were so many critically acclaimed games and new IP’s that would go on to spawn huge franchises.
Oh, and if we include PS3 ...
Plans change. 🤷♂️
Couldn’t fit 5 paragraphs onto one page.
Nah, I have a launch PS5 and Series X still both going strong.
What is the website?
The war ended with Microsoft as the biggest games publisher in the world, bringing in more revenue than Sony.
I seem to remember this same talk with PSVR2. It sold well at launch to the enthusiasts who always must have the newest tech. And I don’t need to tell you how things turned out down the road.
Wait, what? PUBG is the 5th best selling game of all time with 75 million copies sold.

And is still in the top 10 most played games on Steam 6 years after its release. Palworld was also massively successful. It’s sold 25 million copies and has the second most peak concurrent players in Steam history, behind only… yep, PUBG.
And yet, Microsoft’s first party won 3 awards (2 for Forza and 1 for Hi-Fi Rush) versus Sony’s zero. Well hey, they won for a TV show, so I guess that’s something, lol.
Told you the Microsoft/N4G merger was bad for gamers.
Damn, those hairlines.
