Both are extremes. The game will be out in one week and then we can see for ourselves how long it is. How many articles do we need about the length of one game? Everybody plays at their own pace. I personally like to take things slowly, explore the game world and soak in the details. I will be on the higher end of completion time, although 18 hours sounds a few too long for this type of game, while 3 hours sounds like an impressive speed run.
That seems to happen with a lot of big games. Sometimes it's considered "cool" to hate on popular games. User reviews are never to be trusted because a large portion of them are from angry people who never played the game.
I believe the PS4 has proven that exclusives no longer sell consoles.
Those numbers are insane! I could see it reaching 60 million overall. GTA games always have long legs in sales and who knows how many years until the next main entry in the series. Best-selling game of all time? Barring bundled games like Wii Sports, that is.
Considering the game has sold nearly 40 MILLION COPIES, I'd say... yeah. People probably still play it.

I doubt Tomb Raider will release in December. Almost every huge AAA game is pushed out before Black Friday to maximize sales. December is usually pretty barren when it comes to big releases.
I almost didn't finish this game after encountering a game-breaking bug at the start of Chapter 16 where you are dropped in a random area with no objective. I had to replay all of Chapter 15 again and I was lucky to be able to finish the game. Hopefully they have patched that issue by now because it didn't seem too uncommon when searching online for help.
Nevertheless, I still had a ton of fun with this game, one of my best gaming experiences of last year. I don't...

The only differences are with new consoles like the Wii U and 3DS, which are higher on VGChartz because the NeoGAF data only goes through March 2014.
If anything, this makes VGChartz look MORE reliable, not less.
Super impressive! The Xbox 360 only did around 5 - 6 million in its first year, and went on to sell over 80 million units. The Xbox One has a bright future ahead.

LittleBigPlanet 3 is a sequel in a highly rated series with a large fanbase on a platform with 16 million users.
Sunset Overdrive is a new IP on a platform with 9 million users.
