I LOVED this game in the arcades MANY many moons ago, there were a few different cockpits that they had for it, but the best as this huge one that almost encased you, had forward, left and right and diagonal movement in the entire cockpit.

The sound was truly amazing. I think I spent way too much $$ in it over the years, and while many gamers gravitated to the likes of racing games, my backside stayed glued to this.

Excellent game for some basic arcade air fl...

There's several games that have not been around for a while now that will come back to life at E3 this year, which is great to see, plus a few that have been expected, but not mentioned all that much in the media.

I know of at least 3 that will be announced, but can not mention them, that many fans will be happy to see back on the upcoming games lists that's for sure.

(t seems Mass Effect 2 has won many ppl's mostr played games, but then again, not everyone is the same.

I myself enjoy racing games or certain styles of FPS, but it does seem that RPG's grab a great deal of attention from a huge % of gamers.

Personally I think this is one of the best games out thus far in 2010, and a great carry-on from the original.

Dude, you do NOT know what you are talking about, never ever make solid comments based on hersay.. or asumptions.

Because that is what you are doing, and making an ass out of yourself in doing so, but perhaps that is exactly what you're trying to do, attract attention.

Which is sad state of affairs really.

Well I can tell you for FACT, that the game looks amazing and it's HD, the Trailers are exactly the same as the gameplay.

How do I know that - for certain -

Well very simple really, I've played it on various sized screens, which includes the BIGGEST rear projection unit in the southern hemisphere. Which is over 4 mts wide and 2.5 mtrs high.

SOrry, after watching actual gameplay footage, it just does not grab me at all. Can not see what the whole attraction is with these games . . . point cursor at target, hit button, scene takes place, enemy gets damage, repeat . .

What you see in the QT events just does not marry into the actual gameplay . . .

And they want to be taken seriously, yet they do chapter starts like the video at the bottom, or the one where they encourage Leanne to go and be an escort and ...

I'd still buy it, I've played some of it, and it's intense to say the least.

Personally I look at how engrossed I get with a game, not how long it is. A movie provides me with 1-2 hours of entertainment, if I get 6-8 from any game, then I'm a happy camper.

It's best to judge games by ones own experience, rather than anothers, after all, it is a personal thing ..

The little blue fellow is really getting out there these days, and SEGA are pushing him as much as possible.

Family orientated games will be the way many publishers go through their development studios in the future, especially as more and more see the family gaming area open up further.

Looks like a blast actually, and it would be a hoot on Multiplayer . . .

I love the fact gamers and industry types and analysts go on about the so-called 5yr cycle of game hardware. And if any maker steps out side that limit, both the public and the industry slam them for dare pushing the hardware on the public before the old one has had its chance to run its cycle etc etc etc.

Yet, Nintendo have NEVER sat to that cycle, it puts out new pieces of hardware almost every 18-24 months, and for t he most part, they are simply extensions of a previous incar...

I believe so mate, which is why you'll see the large OMI Tin Case alongside the 5kg statue of the Noble One Team . . . So you get a lot of swag for you $$.

Hmm, no idea, but I did read that they only ran 2 production runs, and each was a limited number of approx 30k, but perhaps that was in regions???? so that could account for a total number of what you're saying, taking in US, Aust Eu etc etc . . .

It was in Edge and on Joystiq if I recall . . . and they showed images of the production line as well. Perhaps that's the answer, who knows. I suppose when you look at the overall number sold, and then look at the number or Legendary u...

Well it was actually limited, they shut down the production line before sales started, and only made about 30k of them all up. Just that many simply did not want to buy them as much as MS thought they would.

They actually commissioned a private company to make the units, run the 2 production runs, then close the line down. So in real terms, that is a limited edition as such.

But yes, I see what you're saying as well.

I was talking with someone at MS the...

Seemslike hey are only allowing ONE PER CUSTOMER at stores as well, so as to stop ebay madness. Well, it won't stop it poer-se, but it could stem the resale of these things when they become available.

I'm not the type to do that though. If I get something like this, which I will, it stays with me for the evry reason of getting it in the first place, To own and collect it.

I have every Limited edition of the Halo family which started in Halo 2. All are actually unopen...

Don't think you're the only who's thought of that mate heheheh.

Will be checking dimensions of the item, and I'm sure there will be a few thinking the same thing . . It could prove to be THE Xbox360 of all time, a collectable Halo Reach running a fully functional Xbox360 under the base . . hmmmm.

Perhaps, but the 1st-Gen Xbox had over 15 different Limited Edition units. Not just blax boxes with nice cartons. Each had a special case, and something unique about them.

Some came in extremely limited numbers. The DOA Blue only had 2 runs of 2k each, so a total of just 4k were made. All of which sold before they even hit stores.

Now if they can continue this through with special Xbox360 like the Resident Evil 5 and the Modern Warfare 2 items, they could shift more...

grow up and go away . . seriously, if you like games for games sake, then this is a must play game, just like Uncharted was/is.

5825d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

I was a bit like that - until I played it, even watching it was sort of 'okay' . .but once I was playing the game, I could have been there for hours, and always dodging things thinking they were off to my side or something. Many ppl were the same actually, until they played it.

If you've ever played the first two iterations of Max Payne, then you not be disappointed.

If you haven't, then either grab an early 1st-gen xbox somewhere, and the games, sit yourself down an...

Well I hope some of our guys get to the Sydney one . . it should be great. Might even see if we can nab a Master Chief outfit for someone willing to wear it for the day . . . hmmm.

Some fans go to 'extreme' lengths with these events, almost fanatically so.

But it great to see such enthusiasm, and the fact that Australians are willing to embrace such events . . .

Looks great actually, but hey, one can not be in two places at the same time, although, it would be great if one could be. heheheh ;-)
