I mean, the Game Awards IS a critic-based award. So it definitely has a chance, but I believe Zelda is still the critic's darling.
Yeah, I would say it's more like a cooler than a fridge and not even good at that. It looks cool and it's cheap, but it's just as bad as those other mini fridges that you can find on the web. If you want something that is not complete garbage, you have to go much larger, the ones with +40L tend to work much better.
I did hear from some people with smaller hands that it's too large and uncomfortable to hold. But never heard anyone say that they straight-up hate the controller.
I don't think Sony would allow that. Though the potential with the DS haptics is there....
@Barlos
So what you are saying is that LITERALLY not a single game from them has met expectations in the last half a decade? Man, how do they even keep being in business? Really impressive stuff.
They will never disclose sale numbers, that is not what Microsoft reports and haven't been for literal years.
Yes, definitely agree.
Admittedly though. The final model does align more seamlessly with the game's absurd levels of ludonarrative dissonance. Integrating it with the conceptual design would likely accentuate the already glaring gap and hurt the immersion even more.
I would argue that it goes even further than the consoles themselves. I recall the fearmongering that people had with the Kinect camera spying on them because it was always connected to the internet. Now? We have more than 500 million Alexa-enabled devices worldwide constantly listening to us and our families.
The main issue with this article is that the two major pieces of argument are Cyperpunk 2077 and Alan Wake 2 running on a PC. And when the point of comparison is a PC running those at Ultra, it's not only the Series S that fails to impress... Alan Wake 2 is running at basically low settings on every console, for example.
The argument for using the Cloud instead is definitely an interesting one though. I can't really say anything about Geforce Now as it's not av...
Nah, this is an 80% off.
I don't see what is divisive about it, "unknown" might be better as it flew past most people's radar.
Performance is solid, it keeps the 30 fps for the majority of the experience, dipping a bit in cutscenes and during more intense combat. Visually speaking the game is also fine, it's definitely a more limited experience and some of the low textures remind me of the X360 games. But, again this is the Switch we are talking about and with this context, this version does quite have a "handheld charm". The only real loss that I would say comes with this version is in the immersion. S...
Important to note that she was the narrative director for Microsoft's era of Gears of War. So for 4, 5 and Tactics which some would argue tried too hard to turn Gears into a more "Nautghy Dog-like" experience, to various degrees of success.
So she is going to fit right in with the Santa Monica team.
That seems to be the theme of these games. I'm still sort of mad about the whole FFVII Remake Intergrade. Having the DLC as a code is annoying enough, but making it so that people who buy it second-hand cannot get the DLC from the PSN is just evil.
It has already been released for "English" audiences. You can download and install it on your phone right now.
They are talking about hardware here and the direction that Valve might take with future hardware. And, interestingly, they might be going the standalone route. This is honestly the way to go if they want the device to reach more people as shown by the Quest 2 sales.
Unfortunately, PlayStation's "smaller" games probably died with the Japan Studio. They were the guys behind things like LocoRoco, Patapon, White Knight Chronicles, Tokyo Jungle, Freedom Wars, Gravity Rush, ICO and Shadow of the Colossus. Without them we still have London Studios and Media Molecule doing "smaller" and more experimental titles, but those guys have been silent for the last couple of years. The rest of the studios are definitely on the cinematic experience...
Every day I get increasingly impressed by the amount of sheep in this place. Like, can't you guys think for yourself for like 5 minutes? Or eating up any shit that these manufacturers spin is the only thing you are capable of?
And don't even try to hide that it is a brainless fanboy. "Blow everything out of the water", sure buddy, I'm sure your daddy Sony is really proud of your free marketing.
@Eonjay
"First Sony stated that they aren't making any money on the Portal and that profitability is not the goal. Their goal is engagement. "
Oh, I believe that their goal is engagement or some sort of other PR bullshit term. Because no way in hell that this piece of e-waste will sell enough units to generate a good profit. That said, it doesn't mean that they don't have a margin and if they don't, their R&D team is taking t...
The issue with remaking Persona and Persona 2 is that they aren't what people now consider to be a persona game. So Atlus would need to either re-structure them from the ground up to better match what the series is now, which would definitely piss off the old guard. Or they would need to remake it into something that is still not what people now consider to be a Persona Title, which would at the very least confuse the public.
So I would prefer it if they did both. Rema...
