Yeah, good luck with that on a global jurisdiction with VPN and P2P clients.
For sure, these days, I would say it's a decent game, especially if you have friends to play with. However, it was a complete disaster on launch though.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure that the huge push for super-heroes and Marvel in particular that was caused by the movie industry has something to do with it. But what do I know.
Unless Sony coughs up the cash to buy the publishing rights from Microsoft, or the wild scenario of Microsoft snagging the IP from Sony happens, talking about sequels, ports, or even DLC is pretty much wishful thinking.

It really puts into perspective how crazy expensive those AAA games are. Needing to sell 5.5 million units just to break even is no joke. Sure, for a big shot like Spider-Man, it's doable, but no wonder game publishers are kinda skittish about diving into new ideas and IPs these days.

It again boils down to expectations. Are we expecting Game Pass Cloud to be flawless? Not really—it's part of a much bigger subscription package and is presented as such. On the flip side, the Portal has a singular job, and at a minimum cost of $200, perfection is definitely on the table. If Sony had marketed it as a "Pro controller" with additional local game streaming capabilities or positioned it as an Android tablet that doubles as a home st...
Alright, let's break it down in simpler terms. The Portal is all about home streaming – if it messes that up, it's basically an overpriced doorstop. On the flip side, the Meta Quest is a VR headset, and the extra Cloud stuff is being shrugged off as more of a nice-to-have than a must-have, as per the article. So, in summary, it all boils down to the actual range of features of each device, which sets the expectations for their users. If you sell something that can literally only be us...
That's kinda weird. So, no delays on PC—Steam users still get it on the original date. But if you're on EGS, you'll have to wait an extra month.
If they released a physical collection of the original Trails of Sky, I would get it in a heartbeat.

Only the reality, unfortunately. Sony did an excellent job on the PS5 software, but they didn't put the same effort into the PSN. The way the system handles licenses is terrible.
It's SE at the end of the day.... The last main game was a remaster that was actually quite good, but also very by the books. And the last game in the franchise was a mobile title that managed to survive for only a year before being shut down.
And the rest of SE output has also been very hit or miss in the last decade.
Well, you shouldn't. Black Desert is already available on the Xbox One, and thanks to Microsoft's streamlined game SKU management, it's highly probable that the developers simply have to press a button to make it a native port. The one that will need more time and money is the Playstation version, that will likely need a completely new SKU for the native version to work.
Perspective. A home system that exceeds the PS5 and Series X is extremely easy to achieve as there are many retail solutions that could be used as a custom Apu for this endevour. One of them is likely on the rumored PS5 Pro for example.
But a portable system on the level of PS4? That is a much harder task, as it not only has to be powerful enough but also efficient enough for the battery to hold anywhere close to a usable rate. A real example is the Asus ROG Ally, technica...
The choice of "Xbox exclusive" instead of "Xbox console exclusive" makes me skeptical. It could be an honest mistake, or maybe he is just trying to take us as fools.
That said. I could see Marvel leveraging their influence to push for multiplatform releases, aiming to capture a broader audience and boost revenue. But the question remains: would Microsoft/Bethesda be open to such a proposition for a relatively minor character like Blade? It would make se...
The TGA has always offered a compromised experience in recognizing the industry's achievements. However, this year, it seems they crossed a line when the thin facade they were maintaining finally crumbled. Devoting a staggering 11 minutes to acceptance speeches in a almost 4 hours show that supposedly is there to honor these individuals is nothing short of a mockery.
Seriously, it'd be awesome if controller reviewers actually, you know, reviewed them properly. Where's the scrutiny on circularity, the gate mapping, range, latency, battery life, button wobble, or even a proper D-pad diagonal test? Like, sure the controller looks dope, but for crying out of loud a hardware review must have useful information as well.
The controller looks super cool — I wouldn't mind it becoming the new standard. And about the console, I guess the party prep kicked off early, so they couldn't go with the Slim. But, man, the PS5's design is such a wild departure from the PS1. If they didn't explicitly say it's inspired by it, I would've never guessed.
While also posting anonymously with a Jojo avatar and non-descriptive nickname... So much for putting yourself out there.
It will likely depend on the target fps and resolution of the "big" consoles. If they are going for 60fps on the Performance mode. I would assume that the Series S will be mostly similar but targeting 30 fps and of course a lower rendering resolution. Not that dissimilar to what we saw in Alan Wake 2.
It was a bet. Insomniac owns the IP, but in exchange for the +40M in funding, they gave up the publishing rights for this game and two sequels. If it was successful, then after those two sequels, they would be free to do whatever they wanted. If it was not successful, they could follow a Bungie-like approach and simply negotiate to regain those rights back from Microsoft.
But they were acquired by Sony, and now, unless the latter makes a proposal that Microsoft can't re...
