Totally agree. But her master ninja skills played a big part on people going after information about her what did unfortunately resulted in harassment.

She have not played in the tournament though. If she did played on one that situation would not have happened. You cutie pie.

"I think her performance in a competition would have pretty much solidified any worries as such and I doubt anyone on the team wants to put someone on it that isn't a real player. "

I agree with you. Her performance in a competition or she simple appearing in the stream would have proven that she was the real deal (or that she wasn't). But that will not happen anymore, so we will never know and that is a shame.

My point is: A lot of the negative reception that she got was because she was a high level player that nobody knew about before the Second Wind announcement.

That doesn't mean that I believe that harassing her was correct. But again we don't even know if she was a real person. That's how bizarre this situation really is.

I believe that it will impact only chat features, but the amount of different modes that will be required to be implemented will definitely be very challenging and costly for small devs. Console manufactures and storefronts can probably help on that regard, but they are still asking for a lot and it could break games that are sold outside of those places.

The big issue with that player is that nobody even knows if she is real.
She pretty much just appeared, she haven't streamed her gameplay before, nobody have ever saw her nick in other high ranked players streams and while she did eventually played in a stream latter, there was no way to confirm who was playing.

While that looks nice on the surface, a closer look to this legislation make it a little worrying...

(1) Input, control, and mechanical functions shall be locatable, identifiable, and operable in accordance with each of the following, assessed independently:

(i) Operable without vision. Provide at least one mode that does not require user vision.

(ii) Operable with low vision and limited or no hearing. Provide at least one mode that per...

Yes and no.
Depending on the game that would be a great first week, but in this case it symbolize the worst first week sales that the franchise had since 2010.

Well, we don't know how much Hardline sold digitally so it's hard to say if that would be a good, bad or a mediocre performance.
But digital game sales normally grows 5% to 10% (YoY) according to EA financial reports. So it probably did better than Hardline on that front, but we wouldn't know by how much. Once EA releases this quarter financial report we will have a better idea.

If this numbers are correct - it's vgchartz so take with a grain of salt - BFV had a very bad first week retail. Moving less units than Hardline.... Ouch.

Yes, but they are still the publisher. And normally exclusivity is part of the deal with this sort of release and even more after all the promotion that Microsoft invested in this game.

While Minecraft exists and demonstrates that Microsoft is interested in having some of its games on more platforms, so far no other game published by them has received such treatment. So having Super Lucky's Tale being ported is rather surprising.

I really hope they put more thought into their KS presentation.
Their previous one was alright until they uploaded that horrendous combat demo. Not only it did show that they were very far from completing the game, but it also left me with serious doubts in regard of the qualityof the final product.

Looks like a cease and desist, considering how everything was pulled so fast from the store and without notice.
A shame really. The SouljaGame consoles were the biggest innovation in gaming that we had in the last couple of years - Said no one ever.

Where is that the Epic Store is looking great? It's the most barebones store around and even the features that they supposed had weren't working on launch, like that refund fiasco. Sure they are only taking 12%, but that's because they are offering zero added value.
Steam needs competition, but pretty much any other Store is offering a better deal than The Epic Store.

The issue with the Epic Store is that they don't offer anything that is worthwhile for the consumer. Yes, there are taking only 12% per sale from the devs, but for doing exactly what?

They do not have integrated forums, they do not have a marketplace, they do not offer mod integration, they do not offer a backend for multiplayer, achievements and leaderboards, they do not offer voice chat. Hell, they will not even allow reviews in the store.

The funny part is that you are not wrong, she literally says that she was pick by HP Canada because she fits their narrative. But as far as female pro gamers go I think she is probably one of the most successful out there, although most (if not all) of her big wins have been in women's tournaments.

Yes, the game got banned. But a popular opinion on weibo is that it was after chinese gamers complained to the authorities in an effort to attack both WeGame and Capcom. True, it's rumor at the moment and we'll probably never know the truth. But it would not be the first time that Chinese gamers make themselves really loud in other to complain.

And this is very dishonest. Most of the problems that permeate the game are not related to the lack of hardware on the user...

It's a very bad port, the optimization and connection problems seem to be the same in the consoles and inherent in the game. But, the PC has its own set of problems, such as the lack of real mouse input, absent high-quality textures, bugged water reflexions, lack of support for ultrawide monitors, no official support for mods, motion blur, lack of FOV tuning and several users are reporting that the game don't even boot.

After having delayed the PC version with the e...
