Honest I have no idea what is that they are going to port. Because other than Atlus titles, thre isn't much more on Sega catalog that would make sense to port over the PC.
Some old Sonic titles or Phantasy Star Nova would be nice though,
It was a pretty good game to be honest, the combo system worked well and gave it some deph (though I can see why a couple of people didn't like it). That said, as a "Devil May Cry" it just wans't what the fans wanted.
It's pretty nice seeing those otome games being localized for PC.
Er... spraying over someone's else spray is kind of a normal thing in Overwatch.... But sure it's a "issue"...
I don't think that is the case. I mean we have the Switch with a consumer base that is two times that of it's predecessor. So as long as there is something to entice people, the consumer base will grow.
But even if we consider that to be the case. The currently Microsoft consumer base are already enough to make them profitable (as you can see in their last financial report), so they only need to keep it. And as that is supposed "solidified" that task would...
It doesn't really matter though. As long as Microsoft can build a solid consumer base.
Because as long as they have that, they can keep their gaming division profitable and with a health growing rate. And that is even more true now that they are focusing on services rather than hardware units.
Sure, winning the console war would be even better. But as long as they are profitable and growing they are fine.
@meganick
Most of the times, companies have agreements with physical resellers (brick and mortar stores) so the digital version will cost the same as the physical one. If this is not done, most stores would just refuse to carry the game. Though there are ways to bypass that, like making the physical edition "special" with some extras.
Now about the "expensive cart", a famous insider knows as ZhugeEx pointed out that in order for a comp...
Plants Vs Zombies GW2 is pretty good if there are still people playing (the game is semi-dead on PC). Star Wars Republic Commando is a amazing squad based FPS and Metal Gear Rising is a great hack and slash.
No idea about the Adventure Time though.
I mean, all of them play a lot as support in soloQ. Plus, they are not on the same level as the rest of the teams, so even if it was a discriminatory, in the end all that ROX did was to given them a handcap.
I do agree that Vega Squadron acted like a*holes though
I would argue that Fortnite Mobile will allow it to keep the lead for a long time. Because it is estimated that something between 40% and 50% of the total player base is playing on mobile devices and Apex Legends currently is not available on those platforms.
"Thing is we're having this discussion regarding an article where MS is effectively trying to insert themselves into how other companies do things. Which could very well result in having to pay for two subscriptions: the console you own and acces to MS's Network"
I personally don't see a issue in paying for a service, if I'm using that service. Even more if that allows me to access games and features in a device that would normally not have them. ...
Yes, this is obvious. If it were not, there would be no need to report both numbers.
And I'm not saying that anything that a gaming company does is good, as long as it increases their profits. What I'm saying is that companies surviving and growing is ultimately a good thing for the market, because it allows for multiple options for the consumer what is ultimately good.
Now, if Microsoft is going to a path you do not agree, then you can support ot...
Yes, there are more Xbox Live users than Xbox One consoles sold. That is obvious since the service can be used by means other than XOne consoles.
And Sony is doing a great job and it is the de facto leader of the console gaming market. That said, both Nintendo and Microsoft's gaming division are also growing, expanding and profiting. Which in the end is great for consumers and the market as a whole.
Well Microsoft Gaming division is growing. Last quarter they reported a 44% overall increased, but that was highly because of a 36% growth in the software and service revenue. So it's obvious that this segment is their biggest strength.
Xbox Live Gold alone have 57 million users and the last report put the active Live users at 64 million. The difference between those numbers is most likely from platforms that have access to the Live but don't pay for the Live Gold....
@WombBat
It's a little more complex than that, because Steam revenue take goes down the more a game sell, so that's how it would end up:
So for a $10 Million revenue, they would need to move 228k units on Epic. For the same revenue on Steam, they would need to move 239k units. Therefore they can't lose more than 4% of the total sales or they will not be able to make the same amount of money.
And that got worse the more the g...
That's partially true.
The pre-orders that were done direct thought Steam will be honored. But, the physical editions including the Collector one, that were announced with a Steam Key will now contain a Epic one (including those that have already been sold as pre-orders). Also key sellers like Humble, CDKeys, GMG, etc... Are divided, some of them like Humble manage to keep their pre-orders with Steam Keys (though they are not accepting new pre-orders), while other like CDKeys wi...
I agree. Though Vainglory is just now moving into PC, so they probably don't have the man power to make console ports.
@rainslacker
The two main points are the payed exclusives, that nobody on their right minds can argue that is pro-consumer as it take way choice. And the service or lack of it in the Epic Store.
Just to illustrated the second point, those are all features that Steam have and the Epic Store don't:
- User reviews;
- User profiles;
- User marketplace;
- Cloud saves;
- Voice chat;
- Forums;

This is me summarizing their answer though. Their original comment is obviously far less sincere and don't touch on the fact that THQ Nordic are the owner of Koch Media, they actually try to spin it calling it a "sister company".
And it's already on iOS, Android and Switch.
