That is how it normally goes for most other services out there. The main problem with Stadia is Google themselves, they are know for ending projects/services in the blink of a eye.
Is good to see this event growing year after year. Unfortunately I will not be able to visit the exhibition and that is a shame because looks like a lot of good titles will be present.
I really miss those clear colored products. If Nintendo made a Switch Funtastic Series I would go for them in a beat.
Unsurprising to anyone with internet access, there is a lot of LGBT content on the kind of games that Nutaku sells. But pretty nice of them to donate the proceeds of the sale.
It's good to see Bamco expanding their catalog, but without more information is hard to say if it's promising or not
I love how people had looked at this: "Each day throughout the Grand Prix, random members of the top first, second and third place teams will receive the top item from their Steam Wishlist." And somehow interpret it in a way that implies that you should remove games from you wishlist.
It's not easy to make it though. While the NES, SNES, etc.... have a pretty well documented emulation that Nintendo can base their efforts on, the N64 emulation is medicore at best. Therefore Nintendo would have to invest way more in order to make it work.
A GB/GBC or even a GBA mini, on the other hand looks like a no-brainer for me.
Well yes, streaming is most likely were the industry is going for. But right know it is only a unproved tech with a bunch of draw backs.
In 5 to 10 years however, things might have changed a lot.
Epic: "Well, that look good, but.... how about we not only don't drop our prices but also pass the transaction fees to the consumer in some countries, while in others instead of offering a fixed regional pricing we actually make a "regional converting rate" so those people will have to pay a couple more?".
No developer care for the lower cut. We know that because Discord offer a even better deal, but most developers just ignore it and Valve let developers generate Steam Keys and sell to anyone they want without taking any percentage of those sales, but most developers don't even bother to mentioned that.
Plus we already know that a somewhat niche game like Phoenix Point will get at least 3 million USD to become a Epic exclusive. And there are also mentions of Epic guaran...
Personally I don't think that what they showed us about Scalebound was good. The frame rate was all over the place and it overall felt lifeless. It was however the most distinct Xbox One exclusive, but that say more about the other exclusives than about Scalebound itself.
Illbleed was pretty bad on the Dreamcast. Sure a enchanted version could fix a lot of it's issues, but if the original is something to go by I don't think we lost much with that being cancelle...
Yeah, I really wish they let the franchise rest a little. In the last 2 years we had 7 Atelier releases, between main games, spin-offs and remasters...
Guts should focus on developing a new series or continuing some of their more forgotten tittles like Blue Reflection.
@Neonridr
Oh I do agree that Slender Man fever is already over and dead. But the game is going to be sold on the Switch and if other releases of older games on the platform are anything to go by, them it have a pretty solid chance to sell well.
I doubt it will sell as good as it did on it was fresh (it sold 350k on PC alone), but I can see it making a buck on the Switch as well.
It would make perfect sense if the price was better. For $150 - $190 I could see myself picking one up to use with the Game Pass. However for $250 it just makes more sense to pick up a base Xbox One S
@The_Sage
Yeah, there are 62 games of this genre for the Switch according to Whatoplay. Sure it pales in comparison to PS4 204 and XONE 158, but it still a pretty big library and I would argue that most of those games are better than Slender: The Arrival.
We will have to see the sales of it before saying something like that. But the competition will not be easy, as there are a lot of horror games available on the console.
We will only see lewd content in this game if people mod it in. Because the original title was created as a All-Ages product and therefore doesn't feature that sort of content.
You may also get a Nvidia Shield TV if don't really like to play on computers. As that is sort of console and will most likely play this game.
Good to see that Valve have changed their mind about that one, as the game itself doesn't not feature any sexual content and therefore it was just bizarre to not allow it's launch. Still, is such a shame that mostly likely only happened after all the noise that people (myself included) did.
So I would argue that supporting GOG on that release is a better idea than buying from Steam. Because that way we will motivate the guys at GOG to keep allowing this type of gam...
I'm pretty sure that streaming will be the future. Every company seems to be moving there and it's just make a lot more sense than the traditional model as far as profits are concerned. However there are too many limitations right now, so I don't really expect it to become mainstream for at least 10 more years.
Now it is going to be worse for the consumer when the happens? The sort answer is NO. At least as long as the current model is still profitable, they wi...
