They are also using a smaller battery and a smaller screen on the Switch Lite. Plus there is less molds used to make the external hull so it's manufacturing cost would be even lower.
As they should. If this thing fails most of those studios will not lose much, being that they are likely offering games that are already fully developed. On the other hand if that thing does find a market, the studios that are late to the party will obvious lose a lot of "potential" consumers.
While I agree that there is nothing wrong in just offering one more option. I also agree with @Sciurus_vulgaris that this version is a little too stripped down, especially in regards of the lack of TV connectivity. Lacking a "overclocked" docked mode makes sense, because that is a smaller device with a most likely worse cooling system. However just being able to show the game on the TV wouldn't be that hard, especially if they are using the same boards as the normal console, as ...
In regards to market, yes, this is a direct successor. But I think most people already saw the Switch as the successor for the 3DS.
Indeed.
It's the cheaper way to get a "Switch", but by doing so you are losing a lot of good features from the original console. Personally I would prefer if they simple sold a version of the original console, but without the dock and with Joy-cons tha don't feature those sensors. The consumer would get more or less the same device and the savings would be almost the same, but there would still be the option to easy "upgrade" for the original experience. ...
I kind of agree. The game had many new ideas that would have worked better in a new IP as people wouldn't be so upset that Nuts & Bolts played so differently from the older titles.
You mean that they actually look underage? Because a couple of them are.
That is rather surprising too be honest. Because that look like the type of game that Sony would love to have some "input" into it.
Ouch. I'm feeling rather old after seeing the first Assassin's Creed being part of a "Ubisoft Classic Pack".
The game looks surprising "alright" for something based on a kid youtuber. But for $40? I think Sonic and Crash offer the better value here.
Also I really dislike real people on a game's box art. It just feel cheap.
The Rance series is a interesting one, because it's gameplay it's actually pretty well fleshed out even if most people play it just for the fap material.
From the writer of Euphoria? Then it must be a very heavy eroge.
I hadn't stop to think about that yet. But once the new consoles got release they will be like 20x more powerful than the Switch.
However I don't think that the Switch will be really that affected. Maybe it will become an obstacle for some third party ports, but as the console is receiving ports from all over the place (old gen, current gen, mobile, etc...) I believe it will be just fine.
But that might make Nintendo pressure Nvidia to actually ma...
I get it that the game is easier than most titles in the genre. But I don't really see that as a negative when the whole point of it is not to beat the songs but rather to reach the biggest score. As anything short of a S rank is completely useless by itself, being that only by reaching this rank you can unlock the Master difficulty of some songs. Plus the missions also really step up the game overall dificulty, because while reaching the end of a song is indeed rather easy, getting there...
Er ... no.
Those game are part of the Xbox Live Gold, so they are not free by any standards. You can argue that they are only a bonus over the online functionality of the service, but that does not change the fact that people are paying for them.
That said, I do agree that people should also give a chance to those games before complaining about their lack of quality. Because more often than not the are pretty solid titles even though they are considerably cheaper t...
Well good luck with that. Don't get me wrong G2A is a scummy reseller, but why would any company legitimate or not agree to lose 8% of their total sales if they have absolutely nothing to gain?
That looks pretty good, fluid combat, gorgeous visuals, etc... I hope it will come to the west eventually.
Dude, this one is a eroge. Sony doesn't allow those on their platform.
It looks like there was a slight improvement in the visuals and animations from Lulua, but nothing really that dramatic. And judging the gameplay of an Atelier game from a trailer is very difficult, surely exploration, collection and combat are mostly likely unchanged. But the alchemy itself and how it works requires at least a couple of minutes of gameplay for us to really grasp how it will work.
I'm rather divided on this one. Because it honestly doesn't look that good, however it is rather "original" in regards to games based on animes.
