It's a pretty solid game indeed, especially the vehicle creation tool. I did however hated it when I first played because it was not what I wanted from a Banjo Kazooie game.

I also don't think they will, even if currently they are in the best position to make it work. They are focusing on services and the xCloud once released could overlap with a dedicated portable console.

I wonder if this one will use SteamVR as default.

Considering how scalable most of Microsoft currenty games are on the PC, they could very well run on a less powerful device aka a portable one. Plus there is also rumors that the Surface line might go for Qualcomm Arm based solutions going forward. If they used something based on the Adreno 530 they would have very competitive price all while being more or less on the same league as the Switch.

The biggest issue however is that Microsoft is also focusing on services. And a...

Is important to notice that Roblox the platform surpassed 100 million active users. None of the actual games inside such platform come anywhere near that.

From my experience there is indeed a lot of piracy on the VN circles. But is not without a cause.
Taking my regional market for example, I see a couple of people pirating adult VNs simple because they tend to be rather expensive. One of the main reasons being that most of the stores that deal with said games do not offer regional pricing, so they have to either spend a lot of money (that sometimes also comes with fees) or simple pirating the game.

While the other...

Because it's the most modern approach to the problem, it's more practical for a casual user to just use a cable instead of swapping batteries and using an external charger. Plus it allows for wireless charging to be implemented.

But personally speaking I prefer wired controllers, mainly because then I don't have to care about batteries in the first place. Unfortunately most companies no longer make such controllers.

As I mentioned to another poster. For a more hardcore user the internal battery would indeed not be a welcomed change, but I fail to see how the inclusion of a gyro sensor or the touchpad if the console ended up offering W10 functionality would be bad ideas.

I do agree that would be worse for more hardcore users. But at the same time it's the most logical improvement over the current AA slots, because it's sleaker so it would have more space for sensors and it is necessary for the implementation of techs like wireless charging. Plus it feels more modern and for most of the casual console users it would actually be more practical.

But it's no necessary true that a set of rechargable AAs don't last longer per ch...

I like how this game looks. The somber and melancholy visuals make it a little more unique than most of other budget jrpgs.

The english V.A in the other hand is just bad. And actually crashes with the overall ton of the game.

For the DualShock 5 I don't think that we will see any changes really. As mentioned we might get the upgrade from 1000 mAh battery to 2000 mAh, but the other stuff that I would like would also hurt the Playstation brand so they are not going to happen.

The Xbox controller have more stuff to improve. The obvious one is the inclusion of a internal battery, it's really past the time to have those in the controller. As is the inclusion of a gyro (both of each are also m...

It really isn't though. Doom 3 was release almost 15 years ago. Sure back in the day it was a really incredible heavy game that required a powerful hardware. But as the Switch SoC is far more powerful than any PC of that time, running Doom 3 on it isn't anything to write home about. And that doesn't go to the Switch alone. Pretty much any middle-range smartphone could run Doom 3 if Bethesda have ported it (well some already can but not in a legitimate way).

Well, it's a business transaction at the end of the day so both sides will act in self interest. That is the reason why you don't see developers releasing their games for free and why you see consumers buying from where it's cheaper. Also nobody can dictate morality, so appealing to that would most likely not be effective.

The only way that I can see G2A going away. Is if some other marketplace or store appears with even better pricing.

It's a cool device. And being based on a Raspberry Pi 3 will allow it to have multiple functions. However as a gaming machine I believe that the lack of a analog stick will really limite it's potential. It also a very expensive device, going for £149-179 on Kickstarter and even more after. And for a little more one can get a GPD XD+ that will be a far better option for gaming.

That said. I'm happy that we are seeing so many new handhelds being made this day...

The soundtrack is actually pretty good.

I agree that the G2A itself its a very scummy marketplace. But people that buy something there are looking for price and none of the listed stores (Humble Bundle, GOG and Green Man Gaming) can compete in that front.

There is also the reason why the drifting is happening in the first place. If we look at other controllers, the reason is normally either a defective part, improper installation of said part or just plain in simple abusive use. However on the Switch a lot of people believe that the reason is the cheap graphite contacts of the analog that are falling apart giving enough time and/or use. What if correct make the issue a design flaw of the device.

At first I was thinking that the article would touch on games that suffer with really low resolutions on handheld mode and therefore would look a little better on a smaller screen. But no, the article basically list 6 games that they think play better in a portable, all while forgetting that the original Switch can also be used as a portable device. And in some cases like Super Smash Bros, the normal Switch is a far better option as it features two controllers that allow for local multiplayer...

While I agree that it would make sense for having this game on the Switch (not really sure about PS4). The developer can't just do it right now as this is as Indie as Indie goes. They are a 6 man team (being only one programmer) that are working on the game in their spare time for the last 4 years. Their funding as far as we know is only $313/month that they get through Patreon.

And to be honest the fact that there is a console version at all is surprising. As the game...

It's most likely related to the ads.
Google is trying to "clean" their store in a attemp to make it more "advertiser friendly". They already did something similar in Youtube where they single out the gaming portion of the platform from ads.
