A good way to tell whether or not to get upset about a post is to take a look at the number of bubbles the trolls have.
I'm so glad you aren't CEO of a gaming company.
that no one thinks this is a big deal. It would seem like Square coming out with 360 and Vista support on what must be an expensive project would be a pretty big win for MS.
I realize it is Kotaku and all, but this is a vague rumor with vague information. Thanks Kotaku!
Given that it is Japan that we are talking about, is this a rhetorical question? ;)
Some people contend that using roms for games that you own is considered "fair use", but the fact of the matter is that developers have chosen to attack the issue as illegal...meaning it is basically illegal.
On the Xbox (never played the other versions, if there are any), if you wear your headset while you play, the "announcer" whispers messages in your ear to coerce you into attacking people.
Very freaky effect but very cool use of the headset for offline play.
Having gone to the GDC every single year since its inception, maybe you can shed some light on this amazing news so the rest of us going can be sure to know what we will be seeing?
Oh, you mean you aren't attending? You mean you are actually a teenager on a message board with no inside information to share with the big boys on this site who actually put bread on the table by making games?
Seriously, I'm sure you are a cool guy, but the trolling is getting old. ...
Every time people click it, you get feedback which eventually removes your speech bubbles.
Do you think coming to a post ONLY on the 360 side and trolling with asinine and baseless comments is going to, MAYBE, eventually cost you all your bubbles?
In case the sites revamp didn't get the message out to everyone, IT IS TIME TO GROW UP!
Of course, some fanboys would rather have their one lowly bubble than actually begin to talk like an intelligent hum...
Finally we have someone with the balls to put their opinion on the line by ending a sentence with "mark my words" when they give absolutely no facts nor even the slightest semblance of a cohesive argument.
Bravo. Bravo indeed.
<sarcasm stolen from xbox360rock's post>
Given they have no competition in most areas and their games are consistently the highest grossing year after year, I'm guessing they'll just keep doing the same thing. Every year since 1994 we've all been making the same complaints, and every year they sit pretty on the number one spot.
"You don't get a more perfect, open, free online enviroment for this game than the PS3's"
Except that for MMOs it will not be free, and given that MS doesn't require a gold subscription to run an MMO, how is there any difference between the two platforms from a developer's perspective?
Seems to me Blizzard made a comment on BOTH systems, and only had experience and praise for the Xbox live arcade, how in God's name do you see the PS3 being the preferent...
The number who play WOW, such as myself. Given that the game has 8000% more subscribers than ff, literally, don't you think that _maybe_ WOW is actually a pretty good game? Maybe?
Given that there are 8 million people playing WOW, the question is whether or not the market can support another MMO at this time. I, along with IGN and 1UP, say no, unfortunately. I just don't see another MMO becoming viable until WOW slows down, and given the records the expansion set along with a promised expansion every year, it won't anytime soon.
"Qualify and register as part of the ‘Rule of Three’ program (NOW CLOSED – all qualifying gamers will be notified between February 11th and February 17th)"
Looks like Crackdown is the only other way in.
The single most boring "race" in the history of competition? I say yes.
I'm far too lazy to look up the answer...is there a fundamental hardware difference between BluRay and HD-DVD? A simple yes or no would suffice.
than fixing the damn bug in Viva Pinata where objects disappear all the time. :(
What happened to the "EA's profits up because of the PS3 article?"
;)
that your post tells others not to be one sided on their console purchase yet you end with...
"Love it or hate suckers."
