@KionicWarlord222
If all you can complain about is Kratos' weight, then the game is in GREAT shape
@343_Guilty_Spark
10Tflops and a beast of a CPU (in 2019 or 2020) is no more expensive than 6Tflops (in 2017)
Since when has an open world game been on rails???
(I swear, I wish people would at least think before they troll)
If you think about what Xbox One X can get for $500 in 2017, then the PS5 can probably get significantly more than 12GB of GDDR5 or possibly GDDR6 (which releases in early 2018) in 2019 or 2020...
And lets not forget that even in the X1X the CPU is what is preventing several games from being 60fps...And PS5 might be able to put Ryzen CPU in 2019 or 2020 as well
@Woolly_ - "When PS5 drops, a minimum of 3-4 year before you can play anything worthwhile."
You sure about that???
I can EASILY see Horizon's sequel as a launch PS5 game...It lines up pretty nicely
Yeah but you know how the internet is. If they only see the cinematic scenes that have QTE's then they think thats all the game has.
And dont forget that there are some people who are upset that the game wont come to their favorite platform & they're trying to push the false idea that SpiderManPS4 will be nothing but a liner, QTE fest
@moldybread - "It would be ironic if Sony didn't agree, then what"
Then what? Answer: Then life would keep going as it has been. The sun will come out tomorrow, you still have to go to your job on Monday...
And yes, the PlayStation versions of the game would continue on the exact same way it has been (with cross-play with PC)
Thank you for the lame attempt at trolling, Moldy
Activision, like almost all for profit companies, align with where they think they can make the most money...Xbox One X's will likely not change Activision's assessment on where their the larger slice of their revenue will come from.
Furthermore, this article is a JOKE: Under "The Issue With Frame Rate" the article has the nerve to say: "Let’s make one thing clear: Xbox One X is hinting at faster frames-per-second than the PS4 Pro." -- WRONG...Co...
@Woolly_ - "I suppose the PS4's install base wasn't enough in this case."
Do you really think install base was a huge determining factor in their decision? I promise you that if install base was their 1st (and or only) deciding factor than the game would be on PS4.
@Woolly_ - "I was just pointing out that the bigger Install base isn't always advantageous."
A bigger install base is NEVER a negative...It...
I was just about to ask if Xbox One X's resolution native 2160p or dynamic...I guess U answered that for me.
@Kingtrash360... It was never about True 4K. It was about having a better rez than the competition (which is exactly what it was about when the shoe was on the other foot).
BOTH sides are guilty.
THE BIG DIFFERENCE IS: The people now have to justify the higher price whereas the beginning of the gen the power & price we...
"Titanfall 2 currently features dynamic 4K resolution support for the PS4 Pro but the resolution is capped at 1440p on the PS4 Pro while looks like it will feature upto 2160p resolution on the Xbox One X"
Is the Xbox One X's resolution going to be native or no?
@XiNatsuDragnel - "Of course, but guaranteeing 100 million seems too optimistic now."
Who guaranteed anything? They believe Spider-Man has the power to "help them reach" 100M PS4s..."help them reach" is not guaranteeing anything.
And for the record, I also believe Spider-Man has the power to "help them reach" 100M PS4s (key word being "help")
I'm sure the game will be good. I mean Insomniac is making it and most Xbox & PlayStation fans alike have heaped nothing but praise on their work.
Albert Penello's actual quote: I think there are a lot of caveats they're giving customers right now around 4K. They're talking about checkerboard rendering and up-scaling and things like that. There are just a lot of asterisks in their marketing around 4K, which is interesting because when we thought about what spec we wanted for Scorpio, we were very clear we wanted developers to take their Xbox One engines and render them in native, true 4K. That was why we picked the number, ...
@yeahright2
Do U have the link to that Penello quote, I'd love to use it in a video
EDIT: Nevermind, I found it http://www.eurogamer.net/ar... (3rd paragraph in the answer to question #7)
Here's the deal: Microsoft will be putting "4K Ultra HD" logos on the boxes of games that are both Native & Upscaled (using Dynamic, Checkerboard or other means).
Which, in and of itself, is fine...Except for the fact that they've been yapping on & on about Native 4K being "True 4K" (implying that anything other than Native is false/fake)

Well I guess we should all be thankful that the people who funded the game (which I doubt was you) are not disappointed. Quite the opposite, in fact. Sony absolutely LOVES how well HZD has sold. So much so that Shawn Layden has already said Horizon will have a future for years to come. I can guarantee that every single game publisher would LOVE a new IP to sell 3.4 million units (especially a new IP that is only on 1 platform).
BTW, if this makes you very disappointed, ...
@Kribwalker - "Well I was playing it, but I stopped at lvl 11 and haven't gone back for a couple months"
Just out of curiosity, why do you feel the need to keep saying the same thing, over and over?
@darthv72 & @UnHoly_One & XanderZane
The specifics of what games you own on which consoles are as relevant to anybody else as what you ate for lunch today. In other words, it means absolutely nothing to the greater discussion.
But thanks for sharing anyways
