Another Ironic point is mainly Xbox fans used to cheer the practice leading into (and at the beginning of) this generation. And now when Xbox slowed down (and when Phil said he didn't understand why gamers cared) Xbox fans frown upon it.

Money hatting isn't considered dominating, its the money hatting in addition to having the myriad of top quality exclusives in 2017. Make no mistake, the domination is coming from the combination of BOTH

It sucks that Microsoft puts free-2-play multiplayer games behind the XBL Gold Paywall. In other words, you can't play free-2-play games like World of Tanks, Smite, etc on Xbox without paying for a Gold subscription

(For comparison sake, Sony has released more retail games during the holidays this generation than the total number of retail games Xbox released from January ...
The biggest problem is that free-to-play multiplayer games still need PAID XBL Gold subscription in order to play

You got a point...But, IMO, it's just something bigger when you have new offerings from Uncharted, GT:Sport and then God of War all potentially in the same year that would cement the "Best 8th Gen Lineup" thing
I'm still betting on God of War having a 2018 release...BUT if this rumor is true then 2017's PS4 lineup will be the BEST 8th generation lineup of ANY console...PERIOD!!!

I agree that NS isn't in 2nd place until it surpasses XB1...But the article's title is the only thing that's stupid. The title would have been more accurate if it read "Switch outpacing XB1"
I'm with @2pacalypsenow...If you want to talk about PS4 games on PC as bing "timed exclusives", then there are emulators out there that allow Nintendo games to be played on PC as well
I agree with both of you...But may I also add the possibility of a Resistance Trilogy. Just like it would make sense for BP to make Syphon Filter b/c Sony Bend is working hard on Days Gone, it would also make sense for BP to be working on Resistance b/c Insomniac is working hard on Spider-Man
I'll pick the version that has more content. Because (for me, in my opinion) more game to play > better rez&graphics

Xbox has cancelled several major games that they heavily marketed. Sony, has not. And of all the things you've mentioned, NEW games being released (and not cancelled) matter WAY MORE
