ha totally. how can anyone on here not love a software update with new stuff. doesn't matter what console, updates are awesome, period... especially big ones like this one.
i for one am looking forward to it. i was actually selected to beta test it, but i resisted because i wanted it to get the finished one and wait for the surprise.
show the love!
i'm sorry too :)
fanboys. ps4 is a success. psVista not so much. seems it always has to be all or nothing with people on here.
sony needs to razor focus their attention on the ps4 because its pretty much the only product they have right now that is proving extremely successful (and i say this having recently bought a sony 4k xbr bravia tv).
This has not directly translated to the success of the Vita obviously.
whats the expression? "sh** or get off the pot"? well. either support it or don't. the vita's support has been in stark contrast to what made the psp so good. sad, really but the vita has not exactly been a success and i can't help but feel its mostly sony's own fault. its simply not worth the cost of admission to use it as a streamer or a controller - psTV has shown us that its streaming features alone are not enough to generate wide interest .

Why should those of us who have decent internet connections be restricted by your limitations. Maybe people with bad internet either need to upgrade, find games that they can play split screen or find a different hobby that is as less prohibitive to them in terms of their own capabilities. That said, one of the biggest draws of halo is its arena style, team based multiplayer. That requires an Internet connection. That's why they are really pushing the arena aspect o...
I've got a 300 mbps line. My body is ready.... And so is my internet.
Right. How many games use split screen these days? Not many. The way we play games are changing. My point was split screen was for a time when we actually needed it.
i guess.. i mean.. personally i don't really care. i used to like split screen before consoles had really great online multiplayer capability or support. nowadays i'd rather have a full screen to myself. people complain about how things never evolve, but when they do evolve, people complain that its not the same. *shrug*. seems like a nonissue to me. i pretty much play 0 friends or people locally these days, split screen or not. maybe I'm a minority here but while i've ...
i agree. if it isn't broken, don't fix it. Uncharted has some of the best flow around.
if japan is a critical role, they better step it up because x1 sales in japan are almost non-existant
remasters cost a fraction of the cost of new releases and yield higher margins in return for the studio... by recycling old material thats already been developed. seems like a cash grab to me, yet people complain about paying for DLC that is actually NEW content that expands an existing game they've already paid for. ironic, imo.
Studios are getting so comfortable with this they are even bypassing f the nostalgia factor at this point. Some remasters are still too fresh ...
10% seems high especially considering that the libraries of gen 8 consoles are not that big yet. And what about the indies factored in?
How many remasters did the PS3 and x360 have at this time in their lifespan? I don't really remember it being a thing then.
Most seem like a cash grab to me. You wanna do a remaster right, do it like the uncharted and gears of war remasters and then bundle them with a current new title of the same franchise or offer them ...
Do what you have to do to blow my mind but please know the wait is hard! I'd rather it be perfect than rushed though
Driveclub sucks
thats cool if you prefer it, but both critic and user reviews say otherwise. gt (which i do love) lost its edge at gt4 and remained lackluster after that - like the ps2 ported car models in gt5, and how it lacked even skid marks and the sound was like hair dryers... just examples. gran turismo has really great physics but the entire game around those physics just hasn't been up to snuff imo. I'm hoping gt7 fixes it. for now though - forza smokes it.
Forza 6 was being developed while 5 was being developed. 5 was more an iteration of 4 (i assume kind of rushed to hit the X1 launch window) while 6 was more or less rebuilt properly for gen 8. 6 uses an updated forzatech engine that includes all new physics, especially pertaining to grip on various surfaces at various temperatures, better tire deformation, wear and temperature reaction etc. and obviously now water and puddle reaction. It also looks better than 5 in a substantial way. If anyt...
Updated physics engine as well including more tire performance data
yeah same. good stuff coming out. i'm definitely going to pick this one up. love the art direction to boot.
Soma is cleaning up. IGN seems a little low in comparison on the score there. I'm downloading asap
nope. I'm out of hdmi ports at this point. I'm not unplugging any of the more capable devices for it and my sony smart tv has PSNow built into it, so no.
if you don't have any streaming capability and really want it and or are a big vita fan and own some of the games that are actually compatible then... maybe. but there are far more functional machines out there for for cheap. maybe you don't get your playstation streaming but you get 100% more of everythi...
