you're judging something thats been compressed and downrezzed for streaming, then recorded with more compression and then compressed again by youtube.
You can't make a valid visual call when compression artifacts and soft edges from said compression are literally impossible to miss for anyone that has eyes that work.
i'd say this for ps4, i'd say it for x1, judge it when you see a lossless full rez video or experience it realtime.
that much of a difference is just negligence on the part of the developer. poor optimization. they probably built it for ps4 and "got it to work" on xbox one.

Ummm.... Pretty easy to see the difference. Uc4 looks mind blowingly fantastic and uc2 is umm pretty old at this point and on an older machine

blame the developer. other games are hitting 1080p. f6 does 1080p 60fps and its rock solid. ROTR is also running at 1080p.
hmmm. 900p i can handle. 720p is disappointing. thats a gap in resolution where i do really notice the difference in sharpness.
seems like other developers are getting more than Dice which is weird. i mean - i know there are a lot of variables in optimizing performance but games like f6, gta5 and destiny are hitting 1080p with great performance. even ROTR is hitting 1080p. I'm fine with them dropping down to 900 but oof... no 720p. i guess i'll be picking up the p...
actually... i have a sony xbr bravia 4k and it upscales really nicely. you don't need to explain to me the process of upscale as I work in media/compositing/editing/desi gn and am VERY familiar with all things broadcast and digital image related. the scaler that it uses maintains very crisp lines and detail. it has fantastic edge detection and does in fact look very sharp. this was even mentioned in the reviews of the tv before i bought it. it turned out to be very true. the motion ...
i have a 4k tv and my ps4 and x1 are just fine. pretty easy to just do some research beforehand.

a) its only if the developer themselves remove the game - which in all probability means its not supported anymore anyway
b) its possible to just simply make a backup of your phone before you delete games and restore them from the backup
c) this actually helps with security as old and or unsupported software no longer leaves holes as the software evolves.
d) who is going to pay for the storage of all of these apps that are no longer supported...
i agree with you 100%. its a nonissue. someone just needs to chime in with their 2 cents. i'd much rather see folders, external drive backup solutions and a bunch of other things before an alternate download source... considering it has never once been a problem downloading or freeing up space yet for me... and i've had mine since launch.

maybe I'm a minority here but anything i've ever downloaded on and or for the ps4 downloaded just fine. quickly even. using the app on my iPhone to buy and download stuff to the ps4 works just fine as well. as do the automatic updates to the system... when its sitting idle. seems like a nonissue to me.

i have a good feeling halo 5 is going to be done right - especially considering 343 has something to prove now... at least i certainly hope its done right.
while I love gran turismo, it hasn't been king for a few versions now. I am really hoping this next installment turns it around. GT has always had fantastic physics imo so I am definitely excited to see what they can do with it on the ps4. I'll definitely be rocking it out with wheel and vr support assuming its all still good to go by then.
