It's all subjective. Some people like more games in the X1 lineup, some prefer the ps4 lineup. It's impossible to say which is better because the answer is always different for everyone. Simply trying to convince the other that their tastes are wrong is futile and arrogant.
i'd say the Order, evolve and THPS definitely belong on this list. Battlefront is a little irksome on its content structure/pricing, but i've actually been having some fun playing it regardless -granted i got it for free on the ps4 so that probably helps.

Wasn't tomb raider released before uncharted.? I mean it's been an adventure game since it was conceived. If anything uncharted seems inspired by tomb raider (among other things as well). *shrug*. I really enjoy both franchises personally and don't feel the need to take sides on this but TR has been around longer.
Well. My tv runs at 240hz. And psvr is its own display so it's kind of irrelevant what other displays are capable of.
it can, but the visuals take a hit. we've been having the same situation with the oculus kits. we try to push for 120 fps which resolves the motion sickness from lag problem but it really limits how far you can push the renders... and these are on fairly high end machines. still freaking cool tho. i assume PSVR will be the same situation so don't expect The Order 1886 type graphics for VR specific titles. i think the tech is cool enough though that it won't matter for a produc...

i think it just comes down to what you want to play. they both have advantages over each other and both are strong in different categories. i find myself playing the xb1 more, but its not because i think its better overall - it just has a lineup that suits my tastes more. i also think it gets unfairly bashed these days considering how far its come since the botched reveal.

same. i want a big fancified ds4 controller. I don't even mind paying more for it. the stock ones are just kinda cheap and the battery sucks. a fine controller but i'd definitely be down for a materials and battery upgrade for sure
probably because you don't want to. every review for this has been stellar. the only people throwing shade are the people that can't afford it or they're on the other console.

he's talking about the actual gpu capability, and he's right. they are mid range gpu's. its true that the development API's of consoles let them get closer down to the metal, but the gains aren't dramatic. Mantle, DX12, Metal (iOS) etc are all basically bringing the same capability to computers as well so pretty soon pc's will have the same efficiency which will be able to push them even harder - making it even easier for PCs to be more ...

i agree with what the article said about having all 3 systems being the best scenario. I'm in that situation now and its great. the xb1 may have a bit less power than the ps4 graphically but its still an awesome system especially now.. maybe even specifically now.

i'll get back on Nintendos bandwagon for $600 or less if they:
A) make the system very powerful (no more modded, overclocked gamecube architecture) preferably even more powerful than the xb1 or ps4 considering when it will be launched.
B) replenish their 3rd party studio support.
C) offer plenty of more adult oriented titles. I think the usual Nintendo suspects are cute and friendly but its hard for me to take even my Wii U as seriously...

i didn't take it as trolling. I took it as him being excited about a game on the list. if he can play it on PC then right on. Its you'r problem if you're upset he isn't interested in playing it on the PS4. The article does list multiplats. If anything, the articles title is the doing the trolling.
the problem though is that they aren't going t one cheap to manufacture... at least not in the first year. I have a feeling that even cost on these things is going to be at least in the $350 range. Sony did say it would cost "similar to a new gaming platform". The PS3 was new and launched at $600 and people still bought it. The PS4 launched at $400 and people have obviously been lapping that up. I don't think $400 is an unrealistic price for this thing at launch and eve...
It not pre-rendered. Get your facts straight. In fact there were huge tech discussions about the game when it launched. Not being full 1080p doesn't mean the graphics don't look great and it's disqualified from the comparison. If that were the case, the order should be disqualified as well because it isn't full 1080p.
