Looks amazing and I'm really excited for it, but how many times are we gonna watch the same demo being played through? Would be nice to see something new.
i give it a 7. I'm more of a gran turismo/forza guy. my biggest gripe is the physics but no private lobbies was a big 2nd place followed by no real world tracks for a game that prides itself on looking so realistic. the complete fantasy tracks take me out of it. i don't really play it that often honestly but its fun in short bursts when i need to kill time and don't have enough to get into something more involved. plus i have friends that worked on it so i gotta show them som...

Agreed. That was another of my gripes with drive club. Would love to see Laguna seca, Nurburgring and road Atlanta.

personally i feel theFRO is more on point. I mean the exclusives are great for some people but I personally still haven't found a specific ps4 exclusive (not a ps3 remaster that i've already done) that compels me. Almost all of the games I have on ps4 are actually multiplat releases.
Thats not to say I don't enjoy the ps4, I think its awesome. I feel its success however is more in line with brand loyalty and a flawless launch that left a bunch of self perpetuati...

I thought I'd take this to the next level and do a test. I have created a simple 3d scene using similar render settings, post processing and aliasing that a console would most likely use in typical circumstances. I then rendered one image at 1920x1080 and the other at 1600x900. explain to me the logic? the ps4 can be found for as low as $329 (at fry's electronics) to as high as $399. lol. dude. don't pretend you know things you don't know. the ps4 is sold at a loss too. look it up. almost every console is sold at a loss because ms, sony, nintendo et al know they make money from software and licensing. they recoup the cost of the loss on consoles and then some with software and services.

pretty old news that consoles make money on software, not hardware. this goes for most if not all consoles. thats why they care about attachment rates and usage metrics. they only care about console sales for the attachment.
its because it has a slightly better cpu setup. this was this case with grand theft auto as well and its at 1080p on x1. ps4 has a little more graphical power, x1 has a little more cpu power.
Agreed the ds4 feels cheap compared to the X1 controller and I far prefer the pulse motors in the triggers over a touchpad that no one uses. It actually helps the tactile sensation with gameplay. that battery in the ds4 sucks. The lipo pack on the X1 controller lasts twice as long and you can also swap them out when they go flat without needing to tether. May not seem as "cool" to not have an internal battery but it's certainly more functional. People gave apple the same crap ...
Umm what? That hasn't been my experience at all. Sometimes the X1 ui lags, but so does the ps4. Sometimes my ps4 gets stuck and won't load any content from the store until I reboot it.
