Well, here's hoping the full game feels more like a Resident Evil game than the demo, which feels more like a standard 2010s style first person survival horror game than a Resident Evil title. Maybe it will if it does indeed take place in an actual mansion. So far it's feeling more like a cash-in on a new survival horror trend, albeit one that's objectively better and closer to the spirit of classic survival horror, but still a trend. Oh, and I'm sure VR factored into that ...

Apparently Sony didn't get the memo that "the age of console exclusive titles is coming to an end". The PS4 has too many console exclusives and just too many exclusives in general to not distinguish itself from the competition. Pfft. So lame. Get with the times Sony. You're way too superior./s

Great vid by my colleagues! I actually really like the Vita for its Japanese software support, but that doesn't translate into mass market appeal. One Uncharted game was a good effort, but maybe another would have helped, or perhaps another IP from Naughty Dog or Quantic Dream. I think in general having more first party software support would have helped. I didn't know Sony published all those titles though. That's amazing.

Wow, and PlayStation won for me with Persona 5 alone.

I love this series, and though I haven't tried the demo yet I think I ought to make amends. The first person perspective and the lack of Resident Evil characters are the things I'm most iffy about, but the focus on limited weapons, ammo and saves, as well as limited enemies and an apparent focus on inventory management puzzles has me intrigued and I'm amazed and relieved that RE6 is not the direction the series will take henceforth.

I hope for at least some k...

I beg your pardon? I've been plenty informed enough to not fall for false advertising like you probably have.

*Yawn* We all know who won 2016. Why don't so called "professional" game journalists? I have no time for such nonsense articles so I'll definitely not be clicking the link.

I'm just intrigued that Gamingbolt didn't try to spin this article in a way that's sounds more Pro Xbox or anti-PlayStation. I guess they didn't have enough material to work with for that, or would have to resort to lying since I firmly believe that the PS4 will be the best place to play this game.

Translation: Microsoft: Our current system doesn't do 4K gaming so we have to lie and say it does. Or maybe: Microsoft: We spend billions on our advertising department yet somehow can't get someone capable of advertising our products truthfully and effectively. Why is Sony's console leading MS's by a large margin again?

But...isn't the Scorpio not due out till near the end of the year? If so, how could it be Scorpio's year? By that logic 2016 has been the Pro's year, but if anything that's going to be next year since it will have free reign as the only 4K system for most of it.

Wow, and the PS4 is going to be around for a while so I'd be interested to see where it's at in a couple years, or heck, even next year.

As I own most of the older Final Fantasy games in either digital format or in physical handheld ports, I'll probably wait and see what the price is. But even though I'm not the biggest FF fan, I love nice collections, and maybe I'll finally play through V and VI. If the handheld ports are included, I believe the PSP port of IV has an After Story, or whatever it's called, so I hope that's included. I'm definitely getting the FFXIII collection as I decided to hold off...

I don't have time to click links to articles that pose dumb questions. Revealing a game early only backfires if the game in question isn't delayed several times like The Last Guardian and/or isn't a household name. TLoU is easily one of ND's highest rated games and for good reason. If a sequel is anywhere near as good then revealing it early won't change anything, and anyone who liked TLoU is sure to pick up this one.

The game or the next four years?

If only Donald Trump wasn't the man appointed for that...can a country file for bankruptcy?

I probably wouldn't get very far since I'd enjoy just dying on purpose. Not that I wish death on the real Trump mind you. I don't think he should have won the election but it's open season for the rest of the world to make fun of the US for making him president so that's kind of a perk. I don't actually think Hillary is much better, but she would have known how to handle the job of being president. At the end of the day though I think the US was screwed when the pa...

I admit, I'm not the biggest Final Fantasy fan but that's mostly because I got into JRPGs late in the 6th gen, and can only look back at the success of the FF series and the foundation it laid down in retrospect. It did pave the way for the JRPG genre in general and I respect it for that. I've played quite a few FF games that I'd call solid JRPGs. I just think in this day and age it gets too much credit as it's clearly past its prime and plenty of new series have sprout...

I'm glad I'm waiting on this game. I still want to play I think one day but I've been planning on waiting till it has gone down in price. By then patches and dlc should be rampant enough that it's the game I'm hoping for.

I'm sorry, what? Greatest Videogame launch of all time? Potential to revolutionize the Videogame industry? How does stuff like this get approved? I'm sure it will be a solid game that lives up to a decade of anticipation, and if it does it deserves a medal for that, but let's have reasonable expectations here. Besides, a game can be great without "revolutionizing" anything, so let's focus on what matters which is how the game holds up and not the launch which is...

Another great podcast from my colleagues. If I ever get more spare time I'd like to join in on one of these. Personally, I'm glad Tomb Raider inspired the much more refined Uncharted, which in turn inspired the team behind Tomb Raider to up their game. Now we have two great franchises instead of one that was fledgling and probably would have bit the big one had things played out differently.
