Is it odd that I learn more about current events through John Oliver than I do from regular newscasts? The guy tells things like they are and somehow manages to provide good humour while giving a topic the proper respect and attention it deserves. I don't binge on his stuff or anything, but I do prefer him to the regular news.
I enjoyed Knack, but I think people expected way too much from it. Because it was a launch title, I think everyone expected an awe-inspiring platformer, though that's also probably why it didn't fall into obscurity so maybe being a launch title worked both for and against it. I got exactly what I expected though: a cute diversion and something to play on my PS4 until all the heavy hitters launched.

That was indeed Claire, who we had to wait a good 14 years to see again, all because Capcom made up some BS excuse that her story arc was over while they had no problem making up a new arc for Leon. Maybe Capcom just has something against its female cast. At least we finally got a good game starring Claire, but here's hoping Jill isn't the new Claire. I can buy the older cast being placed in the background if the male cast are too...and we get a proper completion of their arc.
I very much did, but that only fills in the gap between the older titles and RE5. It doesn't explain what Jill has been up to since 5. I mean she had testing done on her afterwards but it should have been finished well before the present day.

Yeah, I've had difficulty figuring that out myself. I think it probably comes down to it being objectively the worst Mass Effect game though, and the insanely high bar set by its predecessors due to how awesome they were, coupled with the fact that it's on newer systems and if anything we expect more from a Mass Effect on better hardware, not less. Yeah, the best E3 presentation is exclusively a Sony vs MS thing as Ninty just ops for a Nintendo Direct, which isn't a true E3 presentation. However, they can possibly still win for best show floor presentation and best game announcements...they just have steep competition in those categories. Worry not, I already maxed out her confidant (social link), and we had a great time on the beach in Waikiki. Also, Persona games allow for you to date multiple women with no consequences...except in Persona 4 Golden which added some scenes to make you feel like a douche. I'm not far enough in to verify if Persona 5 has that feature, but I imagine it does. So, maybe I ought to just stick with dating Ann and friend zoning the others.

Well, I only got partway into Persona Q and it's in my backlog along with Dancing All Night. Honestly, it sounds doubtful that every last one of those registered domains will become an actual game, but I'd love to get a spinoff of some sort for Persona 5. Heck, a Vita port would be nice too. Having new games set in the Persona universe can only be good news. I beat both Arena games so a new Persona fighter would be great.
Thank you captain obvious for informing us of something we've known all along. More power will definitely be a selling point, but having a system be out longer doesn't mean just more exclusives, but devs have had more time to work with it. Also, 16-bit indie titles aren't going to be affected by any kind of power boost, just saying. I'm sure the Scorpio will do alright, I just don't see it outselling its competitor, which probably isn't the end of the world like man...
