I would play such a sequel. Of course, it would once again be thrashed by fans of The Walking Dead, thanks to it following in the footsteps of starring the female supporting lead from the previous season/game, but once again, the similarities would highlight the differences, by contrast, and TLoU is already way different, so, eh...screw em. I like both games/series, and they're both creative takes on the hackneyed zombie formula, so they both deserve praise for it.

That's why I got it at launch too. I actually pre-ordered it, and was able to pay it off gradually. In all due honesty, I'm fine with my ps4. Many people aren't, and that's the place I was coming from with this article. My next article though, is far more genuine. I ripped into Microsoft, because I genuinely don't like the way they've handled the XB1. But, these posts are not intended to be trollish. On the contrary, I think it's great that gamers of all walks can appreciate the Playstation brand for what it's worth, and I hope it continues to be a home for all sorts of different IPs, from various genres. I just thought I would point out that Playstation can't be defined by one or two genres, even if a couple do steal much of the spotlight.
Honestly? The ps3 wasn't defined by one genre, nor was the ps2 or ps1, so why should the ps4? Ok, sure, platformers were huge on the ps1/ps2, as were jrpgs, whereas the ps3 focused more on mature platformers, like Uncharted, and artsy/unique games, like Heavy Rain, and Flower. The vita is more of a Japanese/indie-centric device, and by the looks of things, the ps4 is, so far, built around indie games, but the system hasn't been out long enough to make a definitive prediction.
To be fair, there are plenty of ps1/ps2 classics that have never made their way onto the ps store. Ninty does have a lot more in the way of classic, at their disposal though. You'd think they would have more n64 games up for download on the wii u vc, and some gamecube stuff too, and heck, maybe even some wii games. I do think the wii u has had more classic game support than the 3ds, mind you. I suppose you're right, that Ninty's decisions can be read more than one way.
I agree with you both. I'm at least glad that Nintendo is catering to their fans now, rather than treating them like second class citizens to the fad crowd, which has since moved on. In general, I get the sense that Ninty has a better understanding of how to stay relevant in the handheld market.

Well, looks like May will be a disappointing month for Japanese PS gamers. I think I still have some extra wallet funds on my Japanese account, but I'm thinking of investing in one of the Princess Maker games. I definitely won't be getting whatever is releasing this May, and a lot of it is available in NA anyways, so it would be a waste of precious yen, to invest in those.

Indie games are awesome IMHO. Not all of them are pretty, but some are, and for me, nice graphics are secondary to the rest of the experience. I think indie games have proven themselves as creative IPs, that go beyond what most big companies are willing to take a risk on, and for that reason, I like them a lot. I guess that could be one reason why the ps4 has 10X more indie support than the xb1. I highly doubt that's the only reason, but it could be one reason why lots of devs aren't releasing their games on the xb1, and I can't say I blame them. Agreed. @KonsoruMasuta: Well, mistake or not, it was their job to notice it, and correct it, before it got to the point it did. I for one, am not mad that those games didn't come to the vita, since the vita has far better games IMHO, and if I really wanted them, I have a psp for that. I was just pointing out that Konami really dropped the ball, and deserve all the negative press it gets them.
It doesn't matter. People were expecting the games to release on the system today. It's kind of late for Konami to just change their mind, if they want their fans to have any shred of respect for their decision. I don't think they're quite as bad as Capcom yet, but they're getting there.
If the ME Trilogy releases on the ps4, I might get it, but only if all the dlc is, at the very least, included, and even then, I won't be inclined to pick it up right away, unless there's some extra content. But, I fail to see what's so bad about great games releasing on more systems.
I've played a little bit of the first one, but all three games, that are out so far, are in my backlog. Yeah, don't ask about that. I have the ps3 versions of those ones. This latest one seems to be a vita exclusive though, which is probably a good thing, since I am trying to build up a vita collection.
