That's good to hear. Andromeda is a great game...it just isn't as good as its predecessors which is a shame. I don't think it deserves half the hate it has received, but I can't in good conscience say it's the best Mass Effect I've ever played either so I'm kind of torn. However, if a game can keep me invested for so long it's doing something right.
The only two Xbox exclusives I care about are Sunset Overdrive and Rare Replay, but neither was enough to get me to buy the system and the former is less relevant now that Overwatch is a thing so I don't even miss it that much anymore. There's also Ori and the Blind Forest, but I have a gaming laptop so...I'll just have to make time to actually turn it on. I do not miss Halo or Gears or Forza. Now excuse me while I weep that Mass Effect Andromeda isn't all it could have bee...
I'm glad the critical reception is good. I'm enjoying Mass Effect: Andromeda but I can't help but feel that it's somewhat of a disappointment. Hopefully Persona 5 will be worth the wait.
And now I feel silly for successfully creating a good looking custom Caucasian female Ryder. The character creation options ought to be expanded upon in future patches though, especially the facial subsets. Granted, that would only address a superficial issue with the game and not the main problem, but it would help.
Well, I'm picking up my copy today and I'll go into it with an open mind. I'm anticipating a slow start over the first few hours but hopefully a much more robust game as I progress. I'll decide for myself whether the animation bugs really bother me as I won't encounter them until I play the game. Here's hoping it will still make for a solid entry in the series, and that a second patch won't be too far out.
I enjoyed FFXII back in the day...but no, it's not worth it.
Um...should I even bother clicking such a clickbaity link? I think I know what it's going to say, and my opinion will probably still be the same, which is that no, exclusives will continue to be a thing for the foreseeable future...unless you're only an XB1 owner.
Wouldn't a Vita2 actually be a PSP3, and hasn't Sony ditched that naming convention for their handhelds? If Sony does indeed release a new handheld, they're better off calling it something other than Vita anyways as they would probably want to distance themselves from it, which they already have anyways.
I love the Vita, but creating their own memory card format was a stupid idea, as was not supporting the Vita themselves and just counting on third party supp...
They got cocky and thought anything they could come up with was pure gold and people would buy it. Then DRM was going to be a thing but the consumer taught them a lesson, and then they backpedaled but still somehow held onto their arrogance, and still haven't learned that having exclusives is important. And no, they didn't dominate last gen, they only did in the first half before even the PS3 surpassed the 360 in sales.
$4.50 for the Mass Effect Trilogy?! I would jump on that if I didn't already have the game. I also own all of these Atlus titles physically, and I think I did get the digital version of Persona 4 just to support the digital release/have it on my PS3, even though I think my PS2 is still the most authentic way to play it. Granted, Golden is the definitive version IMHO with maybe one minor point in favour of the original. Perhaps I should open up a Tracy Rooney vs. Erin Fitzgerald discus...
Wow, that's impressive. It would easily replace the 3DS port if it were the Color version, but the fact that this was even pulled off in Minecraft is impressive and I have no idea how it even works, so hats off to one dedicated Minecraft player/Pokemon fan.
Ninty may not be my favourite of the big three, but I'm glad they seem to be having some success with their new console.
Wow, what a waste of time this clickbait is. It's basically just a rant by a MS fanboy. Nothing to see here.
I agree. There's nothing like being in the same room with friends or family and enjoying a game together. We can just add the lack of split screen multiplayer to the list of things wrong with modern gaming. On the other hand, there are some devs that aren't retarded and do include local split screen options in their games, and some even merge the best of both worlds and allow for local split screen in online multiplayer so that two friends can play together alongside human opponent...
Sweet! It's about time! I loved FFXII on the PS2!
I have long since stopped keeping up with the Neptunia series but I do like Compile Hearts as a dev and it's always good to know a new Vita title is on the way!
True, I guess you could say the setup with the Super Gameboy was like the Switch. However, it was also a lot simpler and technically it was two separate systems, three if you count the Super Gameboy itself as an add-on to the SNES. Also, Gameboy games were first and foremost handheld games. That said, the effect of being able to play a game on a console then take it on the go with a handheld was achieved.
Is this a repost of an old article? I remember reading one just like this one featuring the exact same games a while ago.
If dead pixels are not considered a defect by Nintendo, then what are they? Screen decor? This may factor into my decision as to whether and/or when I might consider purchasing a Switch.
I'm not going to indulge a clickbaity title and description built on a notion that's subjective at best. How exactly have JRPGs fallen from grace? If anything they've maintained the status quo, and may be more niche now, but even in their prime weren't exactly the top selling genre. The Souls series is technically made in Japan but it feels more like a WRPG, so what's the point the author is trying to make?
I mean, yes, character customization options...
