And the bashing of Sony's exclusives continues. First Detroit and now this. I'm starting to think these authors are just salty that their system primarily has "launch exclusives" to fall back on.
It might be a timed exclusive but I would hardly call a European listing definitive proof of anything. At least it's not some listing in a website based in some really obscure Middle Eastern country. I've seen stories where that's used as proof. Until I see something more concrete I'm going to assume some random European site doesn't know more than the rest of the industry. Regardless, the PS4 version is coming now, so if XB1 owners want to hold their breath and play t...
Whoops, typo. Yes, I did mean first party exclusives. I kind of typed that up quickly on my way out the door. I do enjoy their first party games on occasion, but I wouldn't say they're better than everything else that's out there, though to each their own.
That's because Nintendo used to be cool. They weren't only in tune with the industry once upon a time; they were the trend setters. It's hard to believe now, when they seem to be like old people who don't quite understand the here and now, but I think they still have flashes of brilliance in them from time to time. They just need to figure out what makes the gaming industry of 2017 tick and embrace it, and maybe even figure out how to steer it like Sony and MS currently do....
I've always thought that about them. They just used to be better at at least pretending to be likeable.
I'm not clicking the link, as Sony is clearly on the "side of history" that translates into more system and software sales.
I hope they have a cool profile database like the Batman Arkham games do. I've never read Batman and only read Spider-Man for about a year in my childhood, which was many years ago, so I don't know comics that well, but reading up on the various villains and supporting characters is kind of neat and with the Batman games it almost propmpts me to check the series out. Almost.
Well, thankfully it has been a good decade since I've sold my soul to Animal Crossing, and I never intend to do it again. I did run into the problem of making it a game I have to play before I can play something else, and it stopped being fun. I'm also a good twelve or so years removed from my MMO days with Diablo 2, when I made the conscious decision not to ever get hooked on an MMO again, and so I never did play WoW of LoL or any of the other big games that have derailed lives in ...
I think the importance of historical accuracy is relative to the type of game and whether it's actually trying to be a period piece. It's completely moot in medieval fantasies for example, where I welcome more presence of the fairer sex. In CoD and/or BF maybe the campaign would be better off sticking to historical accuracy if that is indeed what they're going for, but in online matches I doubt most players are too concerned with cross-referencing their kill streak with actual h...
Well, the author doesn't have to buy it then. I will.
I think Sony has the advantage throughout the rest of the year and going into next year too. Rather than produce a slightly better mid-gen upgrade, they instead opted for affordable pricing and convenience, which is also currently sitting at the price of the less powerful Switch, and maybe even less if they should decide to drop the price later this year.
Well, considering MS spent most of their time convincing me it's ok to stick with PlayStation as most of what they announced can be enjoyed on my PS4, when they weren't failing to justify an overpriced system upgrade that Sony has plenty of opportunity to undercut further with a price drop (which they may announce closer to the X's release), I think they pretty much left Sony with an open net. Oh, and Sony technically scored even if it wasn't with the most graceful kick. So,...
I'm too lazy to click the link but I'm assuming it has to do with the system being more powerful. Too bad it's also more expensive and has fewer games than its competitor.
Well, yes I think Sony beat MS. But even as a PlayStation fanboy, I have to admit it was largely by default. I mean, they just had to show up to beat MS, and they did that. What they did show was good too. I was just hoping for more. Oh well. I wouldn't say they swept the floor, but at least we got to see some exclusives, and actual exclusives too.
Yeah, an E3 where neither competitor truly brings their A-game is lame IMHO. I mean, Sony has this one in the bag if they so much as try...but merely winning by default is not very exciting, so I hope they do bring it.
Well, MS's press conference has come and gone, and I was underwhelmed. I was hoping they would drop a lot of exclusives, and not a bunch of BS "launch exclusives". The high price point and a lack of killer exclusives probably won't "doom" the XB1X or anything, but if they were hoping to catch-up to the PS4, or even just the Pro, this wasn't the conference they needed to deliver.
I say, advantage: Sony, and they still haven't had their...
Well, it looks like the net's wide open for them. Now they just have to bring it and historically, they have.
Really? That's amazing if true, and certainly unexpected.
It sounds like Coco will most likely only be playable in Warped if that is indeed the case, but I welcome it. I always looked forward to Coco's levels in the original game.
It releases tomorrow! I'm super stoked! I have it on pre-order.
