What arrogance? If the PS4 is unattractive, what can be said about the XB1 which only sells half as many units, if that on a monthly basis? Do these authors even hear themselves think sometimes? I don't click links to give trash sites views.

Used games will continue to exist as long as physical games continue to exist. Well...as long as MS isn't dumb enough to pull another DRM fiasco as alluded to in the article. Gamers shut them down pretty quickly though, and will do it again if they or anyone else tries to pull something that dumb in the future.

I'm not going to click the link for a site that would give an amazing game a 6.5/10. I guess that's proof that this website is trash.

Um...interesting. It's an intriguing piece of videogame history at least. I'm not sure if I would buy it, but I think it's neat that someone thought it was worth a re-release, and I'm always all for videogame history being preserved and made available to new generations.

I think I have a problem. I love these games too much and almost feel compelled to check out the comics. I thought I was done with this series and now a new entry is supposedly on the way. Argh!

While I have long since changed my stance on digital games and even have some digital copies of full retail releases, I doubt I'll ever be fully on board with an all-digital future. I love to have a physical collection, and physical games generally don't take up HDD space...except the PS4 is my primary console and physical games do take up HDD space on the system...so that advantage is out, but I still like having physical copies.

Good luck to MS finding a second party studio who would be willing to make an exclusive for their platform. I can guarantee a third party would rather their game be multiplat and MS isn't known for their plethora of first party studios. I guess it's debatable whether Insomniac is second party as they did make Sunset Overdrive exclusively for the XB1, but they're at least a third party studio with strong enough ties to Sony that they'd consider producing a high profile exclus...

Another article pretending that just because MS does something they singlehandedly set the standard for the industry going forward. No wonder MS has been known to think anything they come up with is gold. Look, consoles may or may not be more expensive next gen but it's way too early to speculate about systems that aren't even announced yet.

Besides, Sony made the choice this gen to focus on affordability and ease of development over power and extra features, an...

Unlikely, but maybe it will find its niche.

I don't know about all time, but Persona 5 is my favourite RPG of this gen. I'd actually have to take more time to think of what my favourite RPG of all time is, especially if I consider both Western and Japanese RPGs. Maybe Chrono Trigger? I'm sporting a Persona 3 avatar as that was my introduction to this amazing series. I've played so many games in general that I'd be hard pressed to pin down my absolute favourite even in a single genre.

Because this Trilogy isn't for filthy casuals? Let them cry all they want, but they should try again once they've earned their stripes as a gamer. I think they'll find that Crash isn't anywhere near the most difficult thing out there. Comparing the game to Dark Souls is quite hyperbolic at best, and at worst just ousts people for being a bunch of noobs. Seriously, if you want to be taken seriously as a gamer, don't cry every time game devs have the audacity to present ...

Series rot? If any series can bounce back it's FF though, and while we're on the subject, FF doesn't have to be locked to any one ongoing storyline or game mechanic (other than being an RPG series). I think it's just reached a point where old and new fans can't agree on what makes a good entry in the series. At least it hasn't fared as badly as Resident Evil in that regard as mechanics are part of why the old school and the new school has been at war since at least ...

I would be inclined to agree with Patcher if it wasn't for the way his statement is apparently phrased, if that's not a spin by the article's author. I'm not going to spend $500 on a mid-gen upgrade, but I will not presume to tell anyone what they should or should not do with their own money.

We don't need it...but it would be awesome! We don't need sequels to anything really, but there sure are a lot we want. I'm sensing the question in this headline is rhetorical though, and I'm not inclined to click the link.

I'm not going to watch that vid with such a clickbaity headline. What exactly is the proposed problem with Sony's first party titles? Too much diversity? Games that are too good? Leaving the competition too far in the dust?

Interesting. Pretty bold trying to throw their hat into the ring in the current industry. Long gone are the days when several different systems can all flourish. Three is a comfortable number IMHO.

On the other hand, I'm intrigued by the idea of Atari making a comeback, especially if they actually understand the modern industry, which is something Nintendo has struggled with in the past decade. Of course, they could just as easily do what the old Atari did and shoot...

Yeah, I think that would be the best move from Sony, but we don't need Patcher to say it. A $50 price drop would make the PS4 Pro $50 cheaper than even the Switch, and a good $150 cheaper than the X. Meanwhile, those who just want a PS4 and are not interested in counting pixels can score one for only $250. It's a win-win.

Plus, if Nintendo feels obliged to follow suit on a price drop I might be more inclined to consider picking one up, although it may be too so...

Most sides of the console war are childish. It's all a big ruse by all of the big players to get us to "pick a side" and effectively spend more on the products of our chosen champion. I'm sure both Sony and MS are loving it. And yet, even knowing what I do, I get just as drawn into it as everyone else here, so ruse or not, it works.

There's a national nude day? WTF? These made up holidays are getting more and more random. Also, figures this would be the top article at the moment...and figures I clicked it...
