Well, it will likely end up costing twice what a basic PS4 does, but the Pro will still likely be a goodbye $150 cheaper and offers more exclusives regardless. Patcher's switch is in the captain obvious position this time I see.
I'm not clicking the link. So Sony made the iffy decision to not allow crossplay on their systems. They also made the fantastic decision to invest in first party studios and even fund an exclusive or two, as well as to allow their system to be easy to develop for. If that's not for the players, then I don't know what is.
I have a copy of the Metroid Prime Trilogy. It's unpleasant to play because it's on Wii, which mandates the use of motion control, which I hate with a passion, but it looks nice in my collection and that's the important thing.
The Vita's a great system that Sony shouldn't have abandoned. If you like indie or Japanese games, it's highly recommended. It's just unfortunate that it couldn't gain more traction outside of those two niches. If Sony willed it, it might have actually performed better.
It's pretty impossible for them to up and take this gen given how much of a lead the PS4 has, but I'm sure the X will do quite well, and may even sell better than previous XB1 models have, depending on how large its market niche of 4K multiplat gamers is.
That's good to hear. Remakes like the N. Sane Trilogy are above and beyond what we could have asked for, and I'd love to see what they could do with other IPs, like Spyro. More Crash games from the PS1 and PS2 era would be nice too, but Spyro first.
Sony has released no statement whatsoever about a PS5. It's fanboys and journalists who are obsessed with a system that will most likely happen but not in the timeframe they're anticipating. Besides, the PS4 has a lot of life left in it. So the XB1X is a bit more powerful than the PS4 Pro. That's not enough of a reason for Sony to jump the gun and squander the potential success of the PS4, which by the way has been and will continue to do fantastic. It has great exclusives, a...
I actually still haven't finished the first Persona Q. Maybe it's high time I do that.
I'd also add Mitsuru and Haru to the list, as they're both heirs to massive fortunes and large corporations. I guess they're somewhat like female Bruce Waynes. I also kind of want to see how Junpei and Ryuji would play off of each other, given their lack of academic interest and general reputation as the less serious members of their group. As odd as it sounds...Kanji and Yusuke. Ann and Yukari, and maybe Chie too. Aigis and Futaba.
Meh, I'm not concerned with counting pixels, so my PS4 and PC combo serves my needs just fine. I'm pretty sure MS doesn't care if they get their money through PC or XB1 sales though...
I hope not. This franchise has so much potential, and I'd also hate for Andromeda to be the note it goes out on. I actually don't think the game is terrible, just not nearly as great as its predecessors, when I wanted a game that built on the previous ones and surpassed it or at least stayed on par with its former glory.
I want Patcher's job. It must be nice to have people pay him to state his opinions. If people paid me for my opinions I'd probably have a swelled ego, mind you.
A multiplat machine marketed towards a niche audience of 4K TV owners is going to grow the industry how exactly? I'm pretty sure it won't expand Xbox's fan base much beyond those who are already fans of the brand, and I seriously doubt it will be more than too little too late to catch up to the PS4.
I have the DS games, but none of the ones on the 3DS or PS4 so that's great news.
You mean the game that everyone knew was going to be a cult classic ended up being a cult classic? I'm shocked. /s In all seriousness though, those who played the game had a great experience with it, but it was never going to top the charts in sales. Who knows, maybe it will still do alright as a sleeper hit. Gone are the days when stock on store shelves was the only way to acquire a game afterall. I wouldn't write it off as "dead" because it didn't pull in as many ...
I have been fortunate enough that I can't think of too many bad experiences with Amazon. I prefer physical copies, but brick and mortar retailers are unreliable at best. Once in a while I'll pre-order a game through EB Games, but that's almost all I use them for.
Amazon has no problem stocking Vita games, but brick and mortar retailers stopped carrying anything Vita related so for a while they just lost my businesses on principle. I'm a little less salt...
The game may come to other platforms but I don't think it has quite left unconfirmed territory yet and I don't need to hold my breath on that since I've already played it.
Yes, it really comes down to lack of exclusives, and a lack of first party studios to make exclusives. It's no wonder Sony's running laps around them in the console market.
Ehh...I think MS will continue to have its niche so long as it has its few flagship titles, but probably won't win over too many new fans with just those exclusives, so Patcher's probably right in this case. The comment about Super Mario Odyssey likely being outsold by the latest FPS and sports titles (which I might add are also multiplats) is so far into the captain obvious realm that it's a wonder this guy gets paid for his opinions when anyone could have figured that. Maybe I...
No. They're mid-gen upgrades.
