Well, MS seems to think power was the XB1's main problem. It was a secondary problem at best, but oh well, at least they addressed that...it still doesn't solve the actual main problem of a lack of exclusives though.
Heh, true. This is also one of the main sites spewing that BS. It's good to know there are also journalists on that site who walk upright though.
I actually do think so. I don't own a Switch currently but may down the road. What I look for most in a system is exclusives I can't get anywhere else, and the Switch does have those. I have owned a PS4 since launch and am more than happy with it so I don't need a system to replace it, but I might be interested in one that can compliment it.
Thank you captain obvious...but thank you Gamingbolt as this is somehow not common enough knowledge to dispel all those BS articles contemplating whether Sony should be afraid of the X. It's like those so-called "journalists" don't have working internet.
Well, they've managed to do quite well with the Switch all things considered, but agree to disagree. As far as I'm concerned this year has belonged to Sony from the start, and it will take more than one Nintendo Direct to change that. Even MS is having difficulty keeping up with Sony, and they're due to release the more powerful X. Actually, maybe the correct term is even MS is having difficulty preventing the large sales gap between the PS4 and XB1 line from increasing even fu...
Amy Henning will forever have my respect for laying down the groundwork for an amazing series, and it sounds like some of her ideas still made it into Uncharted 4. But, like with a lot of media, Uncharted can clearly live on without its creator. Media doesn't always end with its creator's hand. Just because she's not part of the team anymore doesn't mean ND should throw in the towel, and clearly they didn't.
New exclusives. Thank you and good day.
I loved the original on the PS3, but other than HD enhancements and hopefully bug fixes, will this re-release add anything? It's neat that Switch players will be able to take this game on the go, and I am glad this game will be compatible with new systems. Maybe I'll consider checking out the PS4 version but I'll have to think about it.
They would give one of the best RE titles only a 3/5? Guess I won't be reading anything by this site anymore.
Sony doesn't have to do anything. Power alone isn't what sells systems. It's exclusives. MS and its fanboys somehow don't get that. Besides, the Pro, which is the most expensive PS4 on the market, is a good $100 cheaper. Sony can optionally drop its price by $50 if they really want to troll the competition, but they don't have to.
Maybe for 2-3 months. In lifetime sales, probably not as the Pro has been out for over a year, is $100 cheaper (and maybe more if Sony slashes the price further), and has access to the vast PS4 exclusive library. Heck, even my casual gamer friend has a Pro, and he's not even interested in 4K gaming. He just wanted a PS4, and ended up getting a Pro.
I'm fairly fond of the Vita and think it's highly underrated, but I wouldn't think that if I truly believed it was the go to system for handheld gamers.
Sony has a lot to worry about. I mean, they might only outsell the competition only by a ratio of 2:1 instead of 3:1. /s I think we should be worrying about the collective IQ of those who keep writing such stupid and ill informed articles.
Nope, I don't think it's that bad a game. Unremarkable maybe. It would have flown under the radar and gone unnoticed if it wasn't a launch title for the PS4. As such, it was unfairly expected to be a system seller for the PS4 when it was really just meant to be a fun little game that harkened back to eras past. Of course, the negative press probably benefitted Knack as it was talked about a lot rather than simply going unnoticed.
I fail to see why Cross Play is such a big deal. It's a neat novelty, but I really don't care if the people I'm playing with are on the same console as me or a different one, as long as there are people playing the game and the connection isn't bad. I think there are enough PS4 owners out there that we're not hurting for other players to connect to.
I doubt it will be the ace in the hole MS needs to catch up to Sony, but dead on arrival? I'm sure it will do alright.
Next time they have a conference at a major industry event, I'd highly recommend trying. They'd best bring their A game to Paris Games Week, as they have no shot at TGS, and Sony has PSX on top of that.
And what exactly are these "biggest exclusives"? Either this guy's lying or he's from a parallel dimension where Xbox has exclusives. Maybe he's from the Berenstein universe.
Give up access to so many exclusives for slightly better graphics? No thanks.
Wow, and this is just US figures.
