I hope BioWare can make a new Mass Effect that's more in line with the original trilogy quality wise. I’m not sure what the prospects of that are but I choose to remain positive. A Switch port of the original trilogy would also be pretty lit, but I’m not betting on that.
This is Japan so they probably had five in stock...if that.
If they acquire studios I would hope they learned their lesson with Rare and wouldn't essentially turn them into a shadow of what they were formerly...but they're probably just going to do exactly that.

Why? The Internet consistently does a far better job of conveying details about games than any stage conference possibly could. I just care about cool announcements and seeing some lit game footage. Also, it's not like it's my first rodeo. I have an idea of what a sequel to The Last of US will be, or another Quantic Dream title. Death Stranding might need some explaining but most game announcements aren't so outside the box that we can't infer from game footage what kind ...

Are people actually dumb enough to believe that just because a game features a scene with domestic violence that automatically means that Sony is advocating for that sort of thing? This article is a decade late and we have a worse problem in the form of MTs, but whatever, I'll humour the author as I do think it's a valid issue. I think if DLC is large enough and enough effort is put into it then sure, it can be paid DLC. When the total cost of all the DLC costs more than the base game and/or it consists mostly of stupid stuff like alternate skins, then we might have a problem. This is another don't hate the tool, hate the user type situation.

Nah, my biggest problem with the XB1 is its lack of exclusives and making it more powerful doesn't actually address that problem...at all. I'm not interested in dropping $500 to play the same games as I can just play on my PS4, even with a resolution bump. I'd much rather save that money or use it towards something else...like a Switch.
I never thought they were dead and haven't heard any gamers make this claim. It's pure media BS that just came out of nowhere and was never based on any logic.

Well, I thoroughly enjoyed Persona 5, but I've since completed it and never was one to overspend on things like skins. I did get all the free DLC though.

The original trilogy was too fantastic for one lousy entry to be the end of it, or so I hope. I don’t think Andromeda is the worst thing ever but it doesn’t live up to Mass Effect standards, and I’d rather it not be the last thing the series is known for.
