Yeah, I mean it's old and the buttons are a little worn, but we do. I wish we brought it out more often, instead of just at the pre-teen ministry I volunteer at, and even then, only every fourth week. Then again, my friend almost dies bringing it out and putting it away, along with the other machines. Maybe when we get our new church we can just have an arcade room.
We also have three other arcade cabinets. One's that awful Sonic 3D Fighter that's more inter...
Huh, most of these are on PC? In fact, some of these were not only on PC first, but well-before coming to the PS4. A good portion of this list should be called "Former PC Exclusives That Came to Consoles".
Sounds interesting. My church has a Street Fighter Alpha 3 arcade cabinet, so part of me wants this collection for that alone. I'm probably not getting it on launch day, but I'm glad Capcom did this.
I really need to play more of these games. I'm glad to see someone else likes XII as much as I do. Actually, he likes it more than I do as I don't think I'd make it number 2, but oh well. I'm also glad VII didn't get higher. I just never understood why FFVII's treated as the holy grail of RPGs when it's really not that special. Maybe it's that I didn't play the game until years later when the PS3 port came out, but that can't be it since I played C...
Spare me, EA. Seriously, it's not like they do stuff like this with no ulterior motive. Even if they're truly making no money on this, they're just trying to get a developer in their back pocket so they won't put up much resistance to being bought out, or foster a reputation as that "benevolent, pro-indie publisher", or to try and make people forget what they tried to pull with Loot Crates, or some combination of all three.
Why? The PS4 and XB1 are doing just fine, especially the PS4. Maybe MS could learn a thing or two from their competitors since they're on track to be a distant third, but I think all three companies should stick to what they do best. Maybe Sony could release a new handheld with remote play and save transfers, but they'd have to give it proper support and not be retarded when it comes to choosing a memory card format. If they stick with one system though it should be a dedicated co...
True, all of the above would get in the way of gaming moreso than everything on this list. I think the point of this article was to list common everyday things that are a pain though. I totally agree that relationships are a pain. My ex would spend every second of every day with me if she could. She hated that I spent so much time on my hobbies and refused to take up any of her own. Now she's my ex. I hope my next gf will have hobbies.
Yeah, that's an oversight on Nintendo's part. They're sitting on what's potentially the best legacy system they've ever had. The Switch's design can lend itself well to emulating both handheld and console games from the past, including more difficult modern stuff like Wii, Wii U, DS and 3DS games. Maybe Wii U might need an extra peripheral as I don't think the Switch can simultaneously relay an image to one's tv while being a handheld, but that's not a r...
Well, even though these are the first three games, they aren't the original versions, so that opens up a large loophole even if the original games are property of ND (which I don't think is the case). I'll still stick with the version that has the ND references intact, but people who can't afford a PS4 will now get the chance to play what I think is an excellent collection, so that's good for them.
I've already played this game on the PS4 so I'm more interested in what will replace the ND references, especially that backgrounds pic of Nathan Drake.
It's a far more reliable indicator than those "Retailer in random European or Middle Eastern country has ___ listed in its catalog" articles we get all the time. The ESRB doesn't rate games if they aren't at least planned. I think companies actually have to pay the ESRB to rate something. Sure, plans can fall through, but I have much more confidence in something like this than what could easily be an error on the part of a retailer. Note, "those retailer has lis...
Shhh...it's how MS makes its lineup from looking even weaker than is already apparent compared to the competition.
Congratulations on a well-earned first place Sony.
Because some people are stupid. That's why.
I agree, although I can't think of a time when government officials did have any credibility on the subject of videogames, so that's one thing I can't blame on that Oompa Loompa and his minions in particular. Ok...I do blame them, but I also blame everyone in a position of authority who has ever thought videogames are the cause of violence.
I'm glad I played the collection on the PS4 then. That, and I got to play it over a year earlier than gamers on other platforms. I don't think these ports will add any new content. Still, it's an excellent collection of remakes and I'm happy for other gamers who will get to experience it now.
I'm surprised this hasn't been done so far. Female gangsters/criminals may not be as commonplace as their male counterparts, but they do exist. I doubt there would be much if any in the way of a feminist agenda in a Rockstar game anyways. Diversity is only a bad thing if it comes at the expense of writing quality or other aspects of the experience.
Besides, if there is to be any "glass-ceiling raising", it will most likely amount to you having the opt...
No, whoever puts MTs in their games is responsible.
Well, given how "smart" the current US president is, this doesn't surprise me. This is the man running the US government. All I can say is, wow.
Dear diary, I cannot wait to spend the same amount of time binge-gaming on my days off, but with new, awesome games. As such, I simply cannot continue to keep a diary. I'm kidding, I don't actually keep one. If I want to write about my gaming experience, I've got a blog I write for, lol. Still, Sony's killing it yet again.
