I really loved this series growing up, so I'd love for it to return in some capacity.
And no indication of a Western release...so...your point?
Interesting. What do MS's competitors who are mopping the floor with them right now have to say about what makes a console successful?
I'm fond of Nintendo and all, but unless these third party docks somehow have malware in them, it seems likely that Nintendo wrote a program that causes systems to brick when they detect third party docks. That's not cool, and might factor in my decision to invest in a Switch. I think I will, but I might hold out for a price drop.
I don't personally care all that much about them, but they appeal to some gamers. I have overcome so many feats in gaming over the years it's not even funny, and there have even been some that are too perilous for most gamers to even attempt. But, oddly enough, I don't feel the need to prove or brag about any of it. I've already proven to myself that I'm a more than capable gamer and that's good enough for me. But, I guess it's cool that I have a record of my f...
There's nothing wrong with having a reason for doing what you do. In fact, I sometimes find myself wishing some devs had more of a purpose behind their games. I'd rather play something that means something to those who made it than something that exists merely to appease some shareholders.
None. They aren't using the studios they have enough as it is. What makes you think it will be different if they acquire a new studio? There may be a game or two in the short term, but eventually said studio will be put on a backburner just like all of the other MS studios. MS acquiring studios is bad for the entire industry. You have to be a special kind of fanboy to think that's even a remotely good idea. Seriously, what's with all these MS should acquire studios articles ...
I hope so. The Vita really is a solid handheld. Sony just made some baffling decisions that limited its potential. Maybe they've learned that they should give their handheld proper support next time, and that creating a unique first party memory card format is a terrible idea.
I don't know the Batman comics, but it's bold to say the main source material is not the definitive version. I do know the games however, and they have been an obsession of mine, almost prompting me to check out those big omnibuses of the comics before deciding, at least for now, that I need to increase my nerd levels quite a bit before dedicating an inordinate amount of time to a long-running comic of all things, knowing that comics are soul-sucking timesinks that make games seem li...
A critical and commercial flop is the long awaited return to form of a dev who was known for pushing the envelope, and getting 9s and 10s instead of the 7.5 this author posted to contradict the question just asked by effectively answering it? If you say so.
I do still love my Vita, but I'll respectfully say that while there's a good argument for continuing to use the Vita in 2018 for those of us who have one, I wouldn't be buying one now if I didn't. Prices of systems and memory cards are crazy, lol. Still, I'm glad I got one when I did, so I can and will continue to enjoy it.
I suppose there's that. I don't think anyone was clamouring for that part of the story to be told, but that's about all they can tell. For a game series built on simple arcade style fun, forgive me for not thinking of the backstory, or the people involved. What's next? The Paperboy movie that goes into depth about the lives of the paperboy and those he serves, and the trials and tribulations he overcomes on the job? Don't tell me that exists too.
Because Sony and Nintendo are actually using their big franchises, while MS is sitting on theirs. This is not a mystery. If you have three competing restaurants, one of which almost never turns their stoves or ovens on, should it be a surprise when their competitors end up doing better? Would it make sense to suggest that restaurant invest in new stoves? No, that restaurant should actually use the ones it has, especially if they're of reasonable quality.
That'...
MS: "Our overclocked iterative console will turn the tides in the console war! Move aside Sony!"
Sony: "Sigh. Come at us bruh. Your exclusive lineup is how minuscule?"
Yes, we're all aware of the slight difference in hardware, but that only matters if devs can/will make use of it. I still have just a regular PS4 actually, and haven't upgraded to the Pro or invested in an X for that matter, so all of this is meaningless drivel to me that takes up space that can be filled with real gaming news. There has to be more to talk about than "dev says ___", unless it's something of interest about one of their recent or upcoming games.
It seems all this site writes these days are either Xbox fanboy pieces or this tripe of "Dev says there either is or isn't a big difference between the Pro and X".
Rampage: The Movie: The Game, lol. It worked so well when Street Fighter did it. /s Critical and audience reception will dictate whether this one's a flop though, so I'll reserve judgment for now.
Wait....what? I was joking, but that's for real? I wouldn't think there would be enough material for one movie, lol. Now I'm curious.
I might see that movie for the lols, but I'm not expecting much since Rampage isn't much of a story game. You play as a creature and smash buildings. That pretty much sums it up. What next, the Centipede movie?
