Japan is more interested in an accessory from a Japanese company than they are in a localized Western release...ok. I get the sense that most Western titles over there are similarly niche to how the majority of Japanese titles are over here. I could be wrong on that, but that's just my impression.
They actually made a better emulator for their Game Gear on the 3DS than Nintendo did with their classic Gameboy and Gameboy Color too. Yeah, figure that one out.
Those are abysmal figures for a Metal Gear game, but I'm actually surprised it even did that well.
Well, I believe the second game was on the original Xbox, so it makes sense that there would be an Xbox version of this collection.
Why do I feel like they're not genuinely sorry? Like, I get the sense they're sorry that we don't like their Loot Crate idea.
Makes sense. I don't know all that much about digital storefronts for PC, but I get the sense that Steam has by far the largest userbase.
I'm curious, so I'll definitely give this a shot at that price.
I'm not going to read the article, but I can't see how a weak exclusives lineup is good for XB1 owners.
*Looks at XB1 sales compared to the competition.* Sure, whatever you say. It's a great feature and all, but it came late and it doesn't make up for the lack of current exclusives. It's nice to have for those who use it but it was never going to be the game changer MS has been desperately needing, considering even the X didn't end up being that.
I just want videogames to start being taken seriously as a medium, and maybe nonsense like the irrational fear major companies have of AO ratings or clueless governments having stupid meetings over whether games cause violence can be abolished. I don't actually care if games eclipse all other forms of media. I'll choose games as my medium of choice regardless, but I'm perfectly content with them co-existing alongside other popular media.
It isn't started until someone launches nukes. There is still time for it to be averted. Unlike the Planet X theory WWIII is a very real possibility, but it has yet to come to pass. Let's hope we at least live long enough to play through the Shenmue trilogy.
I thought this was already happening outside of Japan. The vast majority of Vita systems and accessories I've seen online for quite some time now have to be imported from Japan. The Vita is actually fairly successful over there, so I don't think it will be discontinued that quickly, but I think it's quickly becoming a Japan-only product with options for Westerners to import it.
A new Sega announcement and no terrible Sonic games being rammed down our throats? An announcement that people have actually been wanting? The world must be ending.
Americans clearly don't believe in the first amendment anymore.
I think more importantly, high quality and diverse first party is what Xbox needs if it is to be competitive. I'm not sure if that's MS's end game, but if it is, lack of exclusives is what's holding it back.
How about Xbox games? That thing that's moving PS4 and Switch units seems to be on the decline for the XB1. Maybe try remedying that?
Sure, but only if more companies produce quality titles in this genre. A market flooded with knock-offs for the sake of cashing in on a popular craze would be far from ideal. Sadly, I do see that happening.
No. I mean, many retro titles have seen a digital re-release so people who want those games just to play them...can just do that. However, there are games that only exist in physical form and there are people who just like owning the original hardware and games and want to have the authentic experience. Oh, and people who just want the prestige of having a collection of retro titles, some of whom are crazy dedicated and may even be trying to complete a collection of games for a particular ...
I wasn't expecting such good sportsmanship from Phil Spencer. Well, good on him.
And people still wonder why Sony consistently beats the competition, and is mopping the floor with MS.
