I thought this release had been forgotten! It was announced around 3 years ago, and nothing has been said since.
One of my favourite indy games of all time - looking forward to replaying it!
I would love it for Lies of P to win something. BG3 deserves the big wins, but Lies of P exceeded all my expectations (and I'd been looking forward to it since it was first revealed).
I completely agree. I thoroughly enjoyed Elden Ring, but I would actually put it as my joint least favourite Soulsbourne game, alongside Dark Souls 2.
Don't get me wrong, I love both ER and DS2, but they just aren't up there with the other games. I genuinely think the franchise is best without the open world and lack of focus that comes with it.
I would be very disappointed if FromSoft only made open world Soulsbourne games from here on out.
The game even seems to lack the humour of the other games. It almost seems as though the idea of even slightly making fun of American history wouldn't be acceptable.
There is untapped demand out there. I for one only bought Baldur's Gate 3 after learning it had split screen.
This patch is incredible on PS5 split screen. Previously, there was a pause (complete framerate drop) last several seconds every time a character switch or summons occured (which is quite a regular occurrence, especially during combat). It wasn't a game-breaking problem as such, due to it being a turn-based game, but it was annoying.
This patch has completely solved the problem (at least at the 30 hour point in the game). The entire thing runs perfectly smoothly.
That's how it worked last time they did a price increase, as I did the same. I intend to do the same this time!
As long as they keep the gameplay simple without sacrificing the challenge, it would be a good match.
Though if they did end up making a Jak and Daxter game, I would hope Naughty Dog would at least act as consultants. Even the thought of a new Jak and Daxter without ND's input makes me anxious.
Sly would be good too. Neither franchise gets the love it deserves these days.

There are a few more than 20. Though of course, many in this list are moons.
The fact that (the start of) the game is this good a few months away from release is pretty exciting. Assuming the rest of the game is in a finished state, another month or two of polish (based on feedback from the demo) coule make for a very impressive game.
It's a bold move to release a demo in this age where game developments happens all the way up to (and - in some cases - after) the release date.
Me too - it's been on my radar since it was announced, and I'm pleased to say that the demo has really impressed me.
As for the controls and combat, several Dark Souls games (especially DS2) feel sluggish and awkward to begin with, but improve massively after a couple of hours of leveling up. I anticipate that this will be exactly the same.
I suppose they'd then have to give the player Jessi's usual abilities (or come up with a convuluted reason why she didn't have her abilities), which would make the game feel more like a Control game.
And it's likely Saga will have some link to the Bureau - it's the most obvious way to tie the world of Control into the world of Alan Wake.
Warhawk was one of the few multiplayer games that I have ever really got into. I felt the game always struck a great balance; enough variety that every battle felt different, but not so much that it ever felt inaccessible.
The map variety was great too. Every map shaped the gameplay in a slightly different direction.
Plus, shooting a Warhawk out of the sky with the cannon of a tank was one of the most satisfying moments I have experienced in a game.
I've enjoyed PlayStation's approach to DLC over the last 10 years. Like From Software's approach, they tend to be the best parts of their respective games.
I was about to disagree and ask how a single game could destroy such a strong legacy...
...then I remembered Bioware and the Anthem fiasco. Same situation. Same exact situation.
Bioshock 4 is definitely still in development. News trickles out about it every couple of months.
And Ken's next game (Judas) looks great from the teaser trailer.
I played regularly throughout season 1, but barely touched it once season 2 launched for the following reasons:
1) The lack of content. Still only 1 new character launched during the entirety of season 2, compared to one every two weeks during season 1.
2) A distinct drop in value for the season pass. Not as much content all round, and the content there was seemed like more of the same, giving a real sense of diminishing returns.
3) A frustrating patch system, where...
I don't know... It was a strange addition to the game, and the parts of the game where you had to fight in it were tedious. But driving it around Gotham felt brilliant.
They're probably planning it for DLC or a spin-off / tie-in. Of course, if they're planning on making a product out of it, they don't want people accessing a weaker, unintended version.
