I want to see more vehicles. We've seen a lot of on-foot shooting, and a bit of aircraft, but what about the other vehicles?
Ok, so after seeing this, why don't they develop a first person spider-man game? It clearly could work, and would be good fun exploring an open world in a first person perspective. Maybe even having the ability to cut to third person view for fighting?
I have an idea for your third game. Call it Unmapped 3: Dirk's Deceiving! You could have deserts and boats and everything!
Precisely. Good deeds shouldn't be boasted about. Jesus agrees with you too.
But... but...
DiRT 3 is a 12.
Comparing two different games on graphics doesn't seem particularly fair, especially when both are going for differing styles.
Well done :) Had just about got this.
Hmm
I saw something that looked like "Sharp". Must be something...
This trailer just makes me ask the question...
WHY ISN'T NIGMA IN THE DARK KNIGHT RISES?
Definitely. Somehow online rarely compares to split screen when it comes to racing. MotorStorm Apocalypse being the only exception that I've ever played.
Yeah, really bad choice of article picture here.
I was really thinking it might be a decent game after seeing that, but after seeing the ACTUAL screenshots, I'm definitely going to be giving this a miss.
You are in fact right! Hadn't noticed this. Still, I bet you don't get the opportunity to play as Robin with his hood up. As much as I like this design for Robin, I'm not so keen on the shaved head. Still, I guess the long haired/spiky haired Robin wouldn't work so well in a 3D environment.
Exactly. The article asks what Sony are thinking - well it really isn't Sony at all. I'm actually quite confident that Sony would never choose to charge so much for a single game.
I wish they'd kept the hood!
And I would DEFINITELY buy a Jak and Daxter collection, even though I've played the series over and over again on the PS2.
As long as they don't overdo it. And being ND, I'm sure they wouldn't overdo it. I'm not sure that studio could make a bad game if they tried.
No other game series has had me as hooked as Jak and Daxter. Even now, the likes of Uncharted and Assassin's Creed don't have the same effect on me that Jak and Daxter did back in the day.
I would be so excited if they announced a new Jak game for PS3, as long as it was made by Naughty Dog. The other entries in the series made by other studios failed to capture that Naughty Dog magic that makes the Jak series, and the Uncharted series, so spectacular.
Yes, and I thought it was a good idea, that was well-attempted. Not everything needs to be super-well-done for it to be classified as not-lame.
If they really want to make this work, they should
forget about open world,
forget about complicated controls,
forget about the ability to walk around (although this dead make traversing the levels easier and more fun),
forget about in depth story-lines,
forget about making any "clever" control schemes (I'm looking at YOU, Nail-The-Trick).
And just make a good game with lots of levels, lots of fun and lots of extras. They ...
