Does it solve the bug of it not being available as physical media?
@SnarkyDoggy
Of course, my comment was my opinion, and may be different to yours.
I completely agree that Elden Ring's world is incredible. The design of every inch of its map is fantastic, with so much care that has been put into its layout and design to tell a story in the classic ambiguous way that FromSoft always manage. I would argue with anybody, any day of the week, that there is no finer example of open world design anywhere in gaming across a...
Completely agree with your final comment. Semi-linear open worlds like those in soulslikes are by far the most satisfying. Even Elden Ring (which is of course amazing) loses some of its heart due to it's open world.
Open world in a very specific sense though. The sense of exploration and discovering shortcuts within a large, challenging area would feel great in a survival game like TLOU. But I'm sceptical it would be nearly as satisfying without the bonfire/lantern respawn system.
Or just release a remaster of Bloodborne 😛
Read the article 😕
Agreed. Though I generally find I can play RDR2 at 30fps and I get used to it fairly quickly. I find Bloodborne quite difficult to play. All the other 60fps soulslikes have ruined it for me.

We can only hope. I am very excited to Play AW2, as I love the Alan Wake / Control universe. But I just can't bring myself to buy the digital version. So until they come to their senses and offer a physical copy, I won't be purchasing it.
Even if it's an £80 premium deluxe edition, I'd rather that than buy digital.
They didn't let everyone down. I was actually relieved to hear they'd cancelled the game. Leave ND to do what they do best. Multiplayer games require a huge amount of resources to produce and continue to support. I'd rather them use those resources to make new single player experiences.
Hopefully this will have freed them up to release games more regularly.
I've only just finished the game on PS4 (bought it in 2021 for £10). Enjoyed the game so much, and it's incredible to think I can now get the remaster and extra content - while still having only paid half the launch cost of the remaster!
Say what you want about the remaster being unnecessary, but this is some serious generosity that is rarely seen in the industry these days.
I... didn't say there was anything positive about that. In fact, that was precisely my point. I said that I hope nobody buys the game simply due to being enticed by possible future content (that will probably disappoint).
This is the first bit of news in over a year that has even slightly caught my attention in a positive way...
But before you start downvoting, here me out: This is precisely the problem with this game. Rocksteady know how seriously they've messed up with this game and it's marketing, that they're having to rely on the golden goose itself before the game even launches. They know Joker will sell. But even the image they've released intrigues me less than if the...
As the article points out, Lies of P is one of the greatest examples of a demo success story in recent memory.
I was always interested in the game, but a little sceptical. However, simply by the fact that the developers were releasing a demo several months prior to release made me sit up. It showed confidence in their product, and that confidence was - as it turned out - well placed. In my 2 hours of playing through the demo (just one playthrough, with a lot of time explori...
I for one am a big fan of the Alan Wake / Control universe, but despite my eagerness to play Alan Wake 2, I'm forcing myself to wait for a physical copy. Even if it costs 30% more than the digital version, I'll be willing to wait.
My interpretation was that these extra 3 levels wouldn't be added to the campaign, but would exist as an 'Extra', playable as standalone scenes, like deleted scenes from a film.
I might be wrong, of course. But if they had been added to the campaign, I would imagine they would rever to this version as a 'Director's Cut' edition.
Regardless, 'Sewers' could easily be an extra 30-60 minutes, while 'Jackson Party' is li...
They're probably planning it for DLC or a spin-off / tie-in. Of course, if they're planning on making a product out of it, they don't want people accessing a weaker, unintended version.
I thought this release had been forgotten! It was announced around 3 years ago, and nothing has been said since.
One of my favourite indy games of all time - looking forward to replaying it!
I would love it for Lies of P to win something. BG3 deserves the big wins, but Lies of P exceeded all my expectations (and I'd been looking forward to it since it was first revealed).
No, I'm happy to be thought of as a hypocrite in that sense, if you want. But I wasn't sure I would enjoy Baldur's Gate 3 as much as I did.
Simply, some games I am happy to buy as digital, others I want to own the physical versions. There are some great games on PS3 that if I didn't own them physically, playing them would be extremely difficult.
Simply put, consumers should always have the option.
