If this is motion plus then this will be sweet....
I still occasionally dig out the snes version!
But we all want halo 4!! There been loads of '4' games this year so MS is not any different. If a game has a loyal fanbase and is successful it makes sense to make more!!
I'm really hoping for something a bit special. Maybe I expected too much after the greatness of Halo2, but for me, Halo3 wasn't the defining game of the 360 that I was hoping for. So it deserves and excellent new version and I'm hoping we see something worthy of the series that really does blow us all away! :)...
"When you said pompous i almost fell out of my chair with laughter."
Well at least I gave you a laugh if nothing else!
Seriously though dude - a post of low qualiity is not someone being appologetic because they aren't excited by the announcements. Read the first post on this thread again and tell me it falls foul of the rules.
I'll agree with you that the site is absolutley full of rubbish flaimbait posts and I'm sick of it too.

Thanks for the link!
But even at the bottom of that article it clearly says "10 million Xbox Live Gold members (read: paying subscribers)", so 10 million wasn't plucked out of the air!
If that represented 77% of owners that means there was only 13 million 360's sold? We all know thats not true, so the figures simply don't add up.
It simply doesn't make sense, and it obvious that Major Nelson was dividing the world wide live subcription figure by the US installe...
No - thats not what I wanted in the slightest - and I think your smart enough to know that.
By all means post excited and upbeat comments about the products and games you love, no one should have an issue with that.
But if someone has something less positive to say, I don't feel you have a right to try and banish them from the thread, as if comments on articles here can only ever be positive.
I've bought and owned every single machine ever released...
Really?
21 million machines shipped.
Last figure I heard about live subscribers was 10 million.
So thats about 50%???
Feel free to enlighten me if these figures are wrong... I'm not arguing, I just don't see how you can disagree?
As for Socom, why assume I won't play it? I'll happily play socom as I happily play Warhawk at the moment. I play a LOT of games, so though 90% is single player, 10% of my play time is still a lot of time pla...
@Product
Get off your pompous high horse and take of your 'everything Nintendo ever does is gold glasses'
As users of the site that are interested in games and the business of games, we are just as entitled as anyone else to voice our own opinion on a new article posted on the front page.
This site is not an exclusive 'love in' club for those convinced that Nintendo can do no wrong, and people are quite free to make an observation that isn't dripping with honey ...
Single player is by far the most important aspect of games for me and always will be. I'm happy enough to play a decent multi player game, but 90% of my gaming is done single player and I'm happy tot keep it that way.
A very large proportion of a consoles user base does not even go online with it. Arguably the most developed online services are provided by MS and the 360 console, but if you look at live membership compared with sales of the machine, you can see that more than 50% of us...
Its amusing of course that the MS and Sony boys and girls continue to fight it out over some kind of pathetic bragging rights (I'll bet none of you are stock holders).
Meanwhile the Wii continues to obliterate both of them in sales. The price cuts on 360 and the availablility of the arcade skew are completelky designed to attack the Wii demographic, but I don't see any Microsoft stalwarts comparing sales with the wii....
As for its effect on the PS3 market, I gue...
I don't think it did a lot to sell the machine - though I quite like it as a visual piece to watch.
But supporters of the 'other' system can not crow either - Sony has made some extremely obscure adds that make this one look inspired!
All advertising is good advertising... and the most important thing for MS is get that price awareness out there, and this odes that, so I'm sure it will be succesful..
If you don't know how Karlostomy posts by now you must be new!
He always wears MS provided googles and posts fan boy comments couched in reasonable terms, so you can't be sure if he's a blind troll or not... thats his modus operandi!
To claim these screens are anything less than technically stunning is to prove beyond doubt that when your brain is warped by love for one piece of plastic you can see anything you want. Arts style and direction can always be critici...
They are talking about LCD's mate.
We've all had CRT monitors that can handle resolutions above that, but most people use a LCD, and most of them have been sub full HD.
Getting a full HD LCD monitor at 22" is big news.
Good preview of a game I'm pretty fired up to get. Always loved these titles and playing at 1080P will be great! :)
I don't always agree with Steve Boxer, but he is a real gamer who knows what he's playing, and I like what he's saying about this one!
I never like to hear of a game being canned.
But if one of them has to go - god let it be this one! I find the man, his music, and the previous games abhorrent. :)
Shame - no Killer instinct.
One so many of us wanted to see!
I've not had personnel experience of this phone, but for me at least, simply having the pull out keyboard makes it leaps ahead of the iphone that the articles suggests is one of its main competitors. Trying to do any real typing on a touch screen is simply pointless!
I'll give it a look!
Can't disagree with your statements - just your sentiments!
This equating of most sales = best simply doesn't work for me or many others.
'Take That' are one of the biggest selling recording artists of all time, but it doesn't stop me recognizing their work as the formulaic drivel it is. 'The Sun' is the biggest selling newspaper in the UK, but its news value is negligible and I'd get more facts from a comic book.
Sales do not equate to worth unles...
Yeah - thats a pretty big turn around.
Last year if you went to any of the big stores in the UK, the shelf space and premium displays were all 360 based and it was very difficult to see PS3 stuff.
Granted the ecconomy might change the situation, but the arcade model has been cheaper than a Wii here in europe for over 6 months and the Wii is mudering it in sales.
Price is obviously not the only factor, even if its significant.
This looks great!
Trust treasure to make another class game.
Definately one I'm looking forward too!
