For people still hungrey for more, I'm sure the DLC will be a brilliant expansion to what was a cool game.

But I can't help thinking that MS have simply not had their moneys worth:
By the time the content is available, a large majority of gamers are already finished with the tile and are much more interested in the blockbusters that are arriving very soon.
By not letting us know what the DLC actually is in advance, there simply isn't the amount of excitement and...

Well of course, yes they are!

Rather than developing many games for 'discerning' gamers, which is costly and very hit or miss, they are concentrating on a new demographic, one thats much easier to please. "Look I can do sums", "I'm losing weight with the program" and "Oh look, when I move my arm something moves" and "Look at how cute that it!"

Its brilliant marketing, clever and innovative software design, and I'm delighted...

Its quite plausable that people have concerns about the game?
If you watched the video and thought it looked bad, surely you'd be right to disagree with someone stating it looked good. Or are people not allowed to have a different opinion?

I know there are people who just randomly hit disagree to everything, but thats not the case with every disagree. Soemtimes its beacause people....well......disagree!

I really really want this game to be good and I will get it and no doubt play it for days.

BUT, I did see some things in the video that gave me cause for concern.
The level of fogging suggests theres is an issue with engine draw distance. If you have a great draw distance, you don't fog.

The levels were all constricted 'corridoor spaces' and the game looked as linear in path as the original title, and that was one of the issues for me. Not only does it mea...

The article seems pretty retarded. The system has sold amazingly well for ages now, and has far surpassed what the hacks suggested it would do.
Nintendo have comepletely dominated the market for handheld gaming since the original gameboy, so for a new machine to come along and take a large slice of the market is a great performance, software sales are an issue, but we all recognise thats this is mainly due to the rampant piracy on the system.
Those complaining of 'no good games...

Sorry dude - but you are as bad as the people who blindly defend the title and say its the best thing ever!

Some people genuinely have fun with the title. Why is that so hard to beleive? It's not supporting the title because of the lump of plastic it plays on, its simply enjoying a game.

Some people still play games instead of using each release as a new front for their corporate jousting...

Owning the title myself, I can see where the confussion i...

Rushed or not MS were right to get the console out as quickly as they did.
It meant they were unchallenged when it came to gaining market share and it was through doing this that they have many games and franchises which might not have come their way otherwise.

Sony's track record meant it was not a good idea to come to market at the same time. You only have to look at last year, when the 360 had arguably the best ever line up of blockbuster titles, but was still outsold...

What utter nonsense!

Because you enjoy something, anyone who doesn't is misguided and/or slightly thick? You sir, are a complete fascist.

I've played games since the beginning of video gaming and have spent the last 16 years making them. I play them, make them, and talk them.
I love dungeon crawlers and always have.

But in many many ways, this game utterly fails and is simply broken.
Thats not because I'm thick, its not because I'm s...

Well its certainly living up to the love it/ hate it label.
Theirs not a hint of sarcasm in the guys review for those above suggesting there is - the reviewer genuinely likes it.

I'm still on the fence with this one, having played for quite a few hours and reaching level 16.
Is it the biggest disaster ever? No, its got that strange appeal of all dungeon crawling loot collecting hackers, and though its broken. its no so bad you can't still play with it.
Is i...

"Killzone is the next too Human."

I guess in terms of gameplay flaws, that remains to be seen!

But in terms of visuals theres a million miles of difference. Too human is just ugly - from the lifeless uninspired environments to the worst looking menu's and icons I've seen in a modern game - the whole visual impact of Too Human is not good at all. KZ however, looks jaw dropping.
Off course - it may turn out to a pigs ear of a game, but reports fro...

I can only agree with a 5 or 6 score. I'm really disapointed with just about everything in the game - and especially the story and cinematics which are utterly lame and unconvincing to me. These guys needed to meet a proper director, someone who knows how to sell a story! The basic premise of the story is fine, its just done so badly.. even an exciting fight looks lacklustre. If if had been edited correctly it could have so much more impact..

There are some stunningly ignorant people posting in this thread.

To run a PC at the top specs is to imply you can display a 2560 x 1600 image on your monitor. Nothing under a top spec 30" monitor displays this res, and they are a minimum of £1000. Only the tinyest fraction of PC gamers play games on such a monitor.

The fact is - the majority of PC gamers run their output at less than the 1920 x 1080 of a decent 1080P TV - quiet often at 1680 X 1050. ...

@fermcr

Managing to play games without on single box with no keyboard, mouse or gamepad? Running under linux as I don't see any operating system? Assuming you have a TV with a VGA input, as you have very limited output options from that card for use with a TV? Come on - selectively pulling a few prices of a game store doesn't fool anyone. In reality, it costs more than £300 for a box that can run a modern game well and you know it.

Very very cool.

I've been wandering when they wouild get around to this! A free music video channel, no doubt funded by the sales they make for mobile device transfer.

sony have really been stepping up their media offering of late - winner = everyone.

@ fishy - you really should read before you comment mate.

He specifically said 'if you spend 300 on a PC' then it won't run, and only the ignorant would not agree with that.

We all know PC gaming is far more expensive than console gaming, thats an absolute given.

However, if you are prepared to pay the money, you can have significantly improved graphics for those games that are released on it, and its difficult to deny that too...

Well considering they only gave the amazing original an 8/10, I guess 7/10 is respectable from these guys. But I've never liked or agreed with their reviews on anything really, so I'll be waiting for a better review site before I guess weather this worth buying. Given how muchg I enjoyed the last title, and that this is 1/4 of the porice of a full size game, I'll probably pick it up!

Not only is it a PC, but its a pig ugly one too.
That kind of styling is ultra lame, and designed to appeal only to pre-pubescent boys with a d*ck size complex..

Its not even close to being a console.

Home is merely a 3D virtual online lobby with lots of personalization options and a few extra's.

People who have been bleating on about how cool the 360's community features are, shouldn't dismiss home too lightly! It's way cool to have a bunch of friends sitting around your virtual apartment discussing tactics before jumping into a game, and there is real appeal in wandering around a world chatting with strangers and challenging them to a game. I'm in the beta and I've been su...

Good price - but I wander how significant the undoubted sales spike will be in the US? Certainly it didn't have any real effect in Europe, but the US is a different market.

By now, most 'die hard' game fans have a next gen console. I'm pretty sure that the bulk of new sales are to a more casual end of the market, so I'm not sure jrpg's will have a huge influence as the sales of that type of software are not huge in the US. People talk about platform exclusive titles as if thats...
