Fable seems to be rebooted, and with talent from several high profile game developers of open world games at the helm. How much more new do you need? The setting for Fable is at home with games like Elder Scrolls, Zelda, and The Witcher, but previous entries were comprised of outdoor hallways and not true open world experiences. If they go full-on RPG it could be amazing, so I'm struggling to see your frustration ATM.

IMO, they definitely won't overtake Sony this gen. MS would be extremely lucky if they can overtake Sony next gen either. IF MS backs things up and produces a greater volume and variety of exclusives though, over many years they can at least become competitive again. Again, that's IF they can pound out the exclusives. Best Case scenario? In 5-7 years, the Xbox brand COULD be close to Sony again like in the 360/PS3 days...

The more important question is why would Sony have to outright lie about "protecting the children" if all it has to do with business? It's not like their lie even makes any sense, and they could have just been honest about their intent. Instead, they made it sound like connecting to XBL was going to expose their network to a bunch of pedophiles.

That's the truth. People think changing something on this scale is more like flipping a light switch, when reality is quite different. It took years for MS to sink so low, and it's going to be years before it even looks better. Well said, Shotty.

Honestly, Chief, I hope 343 is working on something besides another Halo offshoot and that Halo 6 is actually on the back burner for next year or later. IMO, Halo 5 has strong MP that continues to be popular so MS would be better off keeping it in play and gaining a new IP instead of replacing it with another Halo.
No he's more like Sony because he's insanely popular in spite of being an A-hole to all his fans. Sure he pumps out lots of popular jams, but he's got such charisma and presence that no one seems to care how he treats everyone who makes him successful.
MS is more like Trump, they don't hide the fact that they do what they want and aren't very popular... yet they still make lots of money.
It's the controller and online that makes it the best place to play. On 1X it's the graphics too.

I was thinking the same thing, lol, but it's good nonetheless to see CD Projekt is taking their time to do things right and make Cyberpunk something special.
That said, I hope the score at least has a Vangelis type of feel to it in some parts, but your reply to Fishy above sums things up quite nicely.
