MS is putting all their games onto the PC right now too, no specific hardware required, so who knows how any of this will ultimately affect MS' ability to keep Xbox successful as a business?

I can understand what you're saying and it's all true, IMO. The thing I want to add with is that when/if the industry goes all digital, people probably won't even shop at stores enough to buy any of the physical things being sold now either. I can buy them online too, and it's easier than going somewhere to get it. Hell, I usually research online, then simply buy online because it takes 2 seconds from where I'm at.

When it became $9.99 a month for unlimited access to a hundred games with discounts on digital purchases? Adding 1st party releases helps with that too.
People are subscribing now even without this added benefit, so what makes you think they'll unsubscribe if a game doesn't deliver?
I would think button mapping within a game wouldn't be that hard to implement in this day and age, and it sucks that when the buttons are remapped from the console (which I use on my regular XB1 controllers) the on screen prompts and options menus no longer match. Having to remember that X is A, etc. can get confusing if you're not paying attention when prompts come up.
Still, whether you have an Elite controller with button mapping built-in or you just do it from ...
I prefer the XB1 controllers for the asymmetrical stick layout, the AA battery compartment, and the feel of the triggers with the rumble built in. But that's just me.

That seems about right. I remember MS saying a while back that anyone interested in Cloudgine could use it when it was finished, but that Crackdown just happened to be the title that was pioneering the tech. Epic will do amazing things by having this tech incorporated into UE4.

MS wouldn't allow it last gen, Sony won't allow it this gen. It would be nice if they both quit being babies when they're winning and just worked this out.
