I simply thought the title was funny, which is why I posted. You said Xbox fanboys were crying about it, but it was actually the authors of the article who were which is why I pulled the quote from the article. Nobody but you mentioned an association between a controllers looks and the amount of enjoyment one gets from playing a game with it.

I like MS first party better than Sony's. I don't play quantity... I play the games that I like. Between all the great 3rd party games and the 1st party games I prefer, I can't play everything I want to on XB1 anyways.

Retailers make bank on accessories, not much on games, and practically nothing on consoles. Gamestop won't stop selling because they live off of trades. Big box won't stop because Xbox is also a BluRay player/app streaming device.

Sony did a lot of other bad things like asking for control over any IP Nintendo produced on their collaborative "Play Station", lied about selling PS2 prototypes at launch, and removing BC after they mocked 360 for not including it at launch. But I'm sure those things are Pro-consumer, right? There's way more I can get into here about Sony, but there's no point.
Nintendo did a lot of other bad things by trying to control their formats through both N64...

That's what I'm talking about. More open world, more crafting, more combat... but keep the social, the quirky, the charm, etc.

I didn't read the article but here's how I see things:
-People forgave Sony for launching the expensive PS3 with no games for the first few years and cancellations of games like Getaway 2 and the FF7 remake that helped unveil the system.
-People forgave Nintendo for releasing the cartridge-based N64, the "Minidisc" Gamecube, and cancelling games like the Zelda tech demo everyone wanted.

I agree, Morganfell, but part of the reason Perfect Dark sucked so bad is that it was in development for Gamecube before MS bought Rare. Porting it to OG Xbox began, and in the middle of the porting to OG, MS switched it up to the 360. Technically speaking, even though it was in development forever, it went through most of it just altering base code to work on other HW.
