Might be interesting to some, but it's not really a "tower defense" game. It's a tactical RPG. I thought I'd be exploring to find people and places that required "tower defense". Oh well.
I think you're probably right, Rain. That said, he also seems to be able to let go of grudges too.
I found this:
'Another Twitter question wondered what exactly Gabe & Company had against the PS3: "Why are you so vocal against the PS3 when other companies just stay quiet and do what they do?" Newell admitted that it was partly out of frustration, since Valve felt that it had done the worst job supporting its customers on Sony's ...
@ Vegamyster
I'm addressing Gabe's character; not whether or not the subject matter is the same. I demonstrated that he's the type of guy who'd sell if the money was right in spite of what he says in public.
@ Araragifeels
Gabe also said he would never make PS3 games:

Then this happened:

For Gabe, money speaks louder than he does.
To the people who'd disagree with a little pirate humor...
You guys are really Kraken me up!
Simple answer in my opinion?
It's easy enough now to optimize for the 1X and scale down to run SW on the OG console, but when next gen systems come out the 1X is still advanced enough to scale down next gen engines to it.
This is the result of, as MS puts it, "Doing away with the traditional concept of generations."
MS wants digital distribution and Valve wants it's services on a set-top box though. It's like they were meant for each other.
@ Necrum
Sea of Thieves is on the horizon now but it's still sink or swim for MS and, as always, there are hungry sharks in the water just waiting to tear this game apart. It's easy enough to dig up the info on this one though and it looks to me like MS has a rare treasure on their hands. Perhaps MS mapped this out in their long term strategy and are finally navigating out of rougher waters... because their compass is pointed in the right direction? Be on the loo...
Why would anybody put out a console with 4x the power and ask developers to make both versions of their games look the same? The whole point is that the more powerful console looks better! Only thing that should be the same is the player experience in order to keep the players on the more powerful console from having a gaming advantage in MP.
Yeah Rain, I know, but I had to point some things out. Lokii seems to think no one else spins things when it's pretty much the industry standard for companies, both 1st and 3rd, to do. As far as X1 exclusives goes? I don't see OG getting abandoned until at least the next iteration of Xbox launches.
@Godmars
I can agree that VR in general has largely become a curiosity at this point. I'm just surprised at how many people really thought it w...
@ Lokii
Speaking of spinning, how's Sony doing with PSVR right now? They sold you guys hook, line, and sinker when many of us here told you "make.believers" that Sony was going to fool you again.
Like they spun it when they released Eye Toy, Move, and Vita. Like they spun it when they sold prototype PS2's and lied until a class action lawsuit proved otherwise. Like they spun it when they said during the launch of the PS3 that as long ...

Gwiz is right, it hasn't become more powerful all of the sudden. It has a really good upscaler to begin with. Just wait until people see how long the 1X can stay relevant after "next gen" starts, because the 1X has contemporary 2017 te...
@ Godmars
It's inappropriate to wave your privates around in public. Did you really need to have the last word so badly? You seriously need to grow up... somebody put this guy in time out, please?
@ Godmars
1. MS said they'd talk about VR/AR this year, but it can do it if MS wants to. Don't you think MS should make real games first though?
2. What the heck is "leading from behind" (sounds dirty, BTW) and who said it besides you?
3. What does any of this have to do with a dev using an outdated version of UE4 that doesn't support HDR?
Stay on topic or stay out.
Good point Rainslacker.
If that's the case, which it likely is, Konami should sell their IP's, pocket the cash and move on.
To top it off, it's not even running with DX12 support which means it's poorly optimized for Xbox in general. Probably because it's such an old version of UE4 like Kai Pow says.
Makes me wonder though; If it's because it's running on an old version of UE4 shouldn't that mean the PS4 wouldn't support it either? They run on the same engine, right? Eh, maybe Nitrowolf is right and they'll add it in but the interview seemed pretty adamant that...
@ Ramrod
MakoD doesn't even have to research because I gave him two links already in this thread already, the other one is above. Sad that this is allowed to go on for an entire day with no mods around to clean out the trash.
Your headline reads: P7 is not Alan Wake 2, Says Remedy's Creative Director; Not Ruling Out Possible Sequel
This headline reads: Remedy's P7 To Launch in 2019; A New Game Project Will Be Started This Year
So... Not Ruling Out Possible Sequel... New Game Project Will Be Started This Year. How does your link rule out an Alan Wake sequel? More than that, who agreed with you?
Why does everybody come in and argue subjective things like they're facts? Say it's not your thing, but don't try to tell me that your feelings should be mine too because "facts"... it's ignorant. Imagine if people respected others when they posted, this site might look like this:
