If people didn't buy them though, would they even be popular in the first place? Plenty of products come out and fail because people won't buy them, so I suggest it's the consumers who were at fault initially. From there, it was just another "gold rush" opportunity for publishers to exploit. Now it's a downwards spiral and it's getting out of hand, IMO.
"But those things are still breaches if you consider it somebody's doing something to allow those names to be made public."
I'm sorry, what?
Edmix, how is a bug/glitch considered to be allowing anything? MS didn't design this to happen. They didn't know about it and just let it continue either. MS didn't allow anything to happen so I don't really know where you're going with this.
I don't want free stuff, I want free game save slots.
...and a webcam.
The 1X isn't a generational console because according to MS the notion of generations is no longer applies to their business model. What you say doesn't matter in the long run though specifically because MS built the 1X to be Forwards Compatible with their next console. Therefore, the 1X is not part of this generation because MS has no generations anymore; Your games will always be yours, always be playable on the console you own, and constantly see upgrades to take advantage of th...
Godmars, I didn't recognize the distinction you were trying to make with "non-AAA" but when you put it that way it makes more sense to me now. Games like SoD, Cuphead, and Ori are actually in the category you were trying to describe.
BTW, Gears launched on 360, but I'm just splitting hairs with you. I think we can both agree that MS needs more variety, even if it comes in the form of resurrecting older IP's though.
Oh, and sorry I ...
Listen to yourself, bud:
"Do you honestly believe that i didn't know that Microsoft owned the IP?"
How else can anyone view your OP when the entire comment hinged on Fable 4 going multiplatform?
Besides, if you knew the IP belonged to MS, then completely ignoring the fact that it cannot possibly go multiplatform isn't "playing Devil's Advocate", is it?.
At this point, you're not "just sayin",...
None of which has anything to do with the fact that MS owns the IP. You seem to do an awful lot of, "just sayin" and not a whole lot of critical thinking before you post. Why do you think that is?
Oh okay, that makes more sense now. Thanks for clarifying your remarks were off-topic and you're just trolling again.
No surprise. This info was up on N4G a several months ago:

Whatever the reason though, it's good to see a new Fable is likely in development from Playground, along with some talent from games like GTA V, Metal Gear, and Hellblade.

I don't know if I coined the term yesterday but that's why I called the upgrades, "freemasters".
"...put some priority in SP non-AAA to build library."
Funny, but if I go back to any article from games like Sunset Overdrive, Ryse, Quantum Break, Recore, Lucky's, etc., people are just complaining that MS has no good single player games. Now you're getting agrees for suggesting that putting out lots of mediocrity is the cure? That doesn't sound right to me. MS needs more development studios that can build games off of MS' back catalog of IP...
This article was up on N4G about a week ago, it contains most of what you're looking to find out:

"...an unorthodox premise that relies on multiplayer..."
Looks kind of like an MMO to me. Are they considered unorthodox?
I'm sure the series will be just fine... as pachinko machines.
Instead of putting $10 into a save slot, you put a quarter in the coin slot. You might actually win money too!
If you already own the games they're "freemasters". Freaking awesome!

From the article:
"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was enhanced for Xbox One X at the end of 2017, adding both a mode prioritizing 4K resolution at 30 frames per second, and another prioritizing 60 frames per second with dynamic scaling."
I assume that if XB1 games like Witcher 3 are able to dou...
Every time I see this game, it reminds me how much I enjoyed Serious Sam. Seriously? A new one would be great, but even rereleases/remasters would be cool.
I wonder if Christ Centered Gamer will review Far Cry 5?
Would be nice if there were a way to use Mixer to play local coop games online (who knows why they even exist, but they do).
