Nintendo trying to invent a new way to play makes about as much sense as Mr. Garrison's invention of the Monowheel IT from Season 5 of South Park. Why do we need to re-invent the wheel all the time anyways?
Edit: Look it up if you don't know what I'm talking about and it'll make perfect sense...
I guess I wasn't going to mention it then? o_O
If Activision knows Sony wants it, if Sony actually wants it that bad, they'll likely keep it for themselves as it raises the value of a reboot to the franchise for Activision if they know it's wanted.
Alderaan?
Thanks, I was going to mention this.
Neoandrew, I remember people getting all techie about why XB1 and PS4 couldn't run BC. Heck, even reputable tech websites said BC was impossible for 8th gen but look what happened there.
You are right about the fact that it will resort to the same sub-par interpolation that PSVR will use, but with OR on XB1 it will be handled via cloud compute middleware acting as the external processor. I'm curious though; what people who disagree with Pistols and I think MS are dev...
Are you really that oblivious to the industry that you didn't realize every XB1 game running on your PC would be Win10 exclusive, or are you just trolling?
In order to play with an XB1 owner, you have to play on Win10. That's why they call Win10 an ecosystem all the time.
They quick-wrote the article in 60 seconds, but the LOLs will last for hours!
Thank you Pistols, I've pointed out that Project Irides and cloud compute could reasonably stand in as the external processor before. Haters want to hate though...
Old news which was uploaded two days ago, but it will still probably start fires really well.
Game, once again you completely fail to grasp even the most basic concepts of human language, and your followers eat up all of your nonsense like they always do. You must feel good about yourself. I told you why I listen to what he has to say yet you have to tell me that I mean something different. The fact remains that I research information that I hear about from him. I am researching legitimate areas of technology I would not otherwise even know about without his leads to follow up on. Als...
Well said! I want not only new IP, but a revisit of old IP that's been shelved for a while. Mostly, I want an open world ShadowRun RPG. The whole idea of Deus Ex meets Elder Scrolls makes me giggle with excitement like a child. The Genesis version of ShadowRun is still one of my favorite games of all time!
Game, the reason people like me still listen to him is because it's interesting to learn about new areas of computer technology research, even if it ends up being unrelated to the XB1 like this "news". I had no idea, for example, that AMD was making a new GPU code named Polaris until I saw Rain's post. He posted because of mistercteam, so now I can research it for myself and learn something I didn't know about upcoming PC technology before. While it's not often miste...
Only problem I see with your point, Rain, is that the Elite controller doesn't need games to support it so it works with everything.
@Rainslacker,
Seriously? 17 billion transistors on just the GPU??? Those things are going to scream!
You're right Badboy, he has been proven wrong too many times to count but there's an old saying,"If you throw enough s**t at the wall eventually some of it sticks." When did I hype it up like the "second coming of Jesus" though? It's a fact that hardware acceleration(XB1) is decidedly faster than a software based solution(PS4) for those features and will close the gap when engines use them. I also said earlier that PS4 will still look better for the most part,...
Bad boy, yes I do believe some of it and I've said only some of it in a previous post. Stuff you can confirm if you dig deep enough. A general search is not always good enough, and mistercteam does all the digging, for better or worse. Before you make comments like that, go to his website and check out the link.
That's the problem with ignorance like yours. Why would you choose not to educate yourself based off the notion that everything on the site is bs? Some of...
@hazardman
Phil also said that MS knew what DX12 was doing when they built XB1, in direct response to a question about how XB1 could support FULL DX12(which is FL 12.1, btw).
Also, note that I said originally that PS4 would still look better but that hardware accelleration would help close the gap, which it will. The fact is that a hardware based solution is way more efficient than a software based solution. Look up what Nvidia has to say about FL 12.1 in t...
Some people like the way Wii games play too, but I don't see motion control replacing anything. It's actually fading away...
Morpheus is virtually failing already.
@1.1.1 - I knew I could count on you to come back with your ignorance, Game!
First, you didn't Google the subject or you would have known that it was Gametral that posted the article, with a misleading headline, which only says the XB1 will surely support FL 12.0 yet never mentions that it can't also support FL 12.1. Second, you didn't go to MR. X's site and follow the link. You know, the one which takes you to irrefutable proof of it's inclusion in th...
"...all the man has said is words... speak first and think later lol". So true, so true. o_O
Hey, at least we know he's not drunk, raised by wild animals in the woods, or lobotomized!
