Half life should just reboot at this point. Who today would even know what is going on in the series? If you were 5 when half life 2 episode 2 came out you would now be 14. What target audience would Half life 3 end up hitting besides us older gamers? A reboot would allow new gamers to appreciate the story and set up for half life 3 for a new generation. Ironically, there still aren't that many games that use physics like Half Life does, so even without many tweaks it would still feel...
We will probably see more PC to Xbox ports coming as DX12 begins to hit it's stride too, since porting with DX12 is very easy to do.
Agreed, and it's nice to see a game trying to do something different in terms of entertainment. I liked Alan Wake's limited use of live action, and think Quantum Break is using live action in a better way than AW did.
Wikipedia doesn't say anything about it, I just checked. A general search also turns up nothing but speculation in forums about what they're actually using for it, so who knows?
I don't even think it would fit on an elite because the battery bump out is like a 360 controller. I don't think you would be able to use any of the paddles anymore with it attatched.
What would you play with if you don't have a controller though? At the very least, the packaging would have to make it very clear what hardware was not included and would be required for gaming.
Fiveby9, you're forgetting that a fancy controller or a headset don't need special software. They enhance traditional gaming, and all games support them, which is why they're successful even though they're expensive.
I would like to see a new story arc set in the time of the civilization that created the Pieces of Eden. A spinoff of Assassin's Creed with new ideas about gameplay that also explains who these beings were.
I don't wan't to lose a bubble, so I'll just stay quiet and remove my head from the gutter.
I agree with you though, they should use her in the games again.
Why does he mention that the price is a bit of a shock but not mention how much they cost?
My favorite use for old Nintendo hardware is playing games.
I would imagine that if you turned your console into a tissue dispenser you'd need to buy tissues a lot more often, because any time a gamer came over to your house and saw what you'd done they would cry.
What's he going to do then, attack your wallet for massive damage? ;P
They can estimate it now because they know how much the Oculus Rift is selling for. The fact that they know how to compare the technology in the two devices makes estimating PSVR's price possible.
Hard to imagine $399 when it also includes an external processor in order to function and is supposed to be comparable to Oculus Rift in quality. I'm thinking $499 for PSVR since OR is $599 with an XB1 controller.
"The NX will have the definitive version of all our favorite games..." ;b
If you follow the link, it talks about sending in your issues along with your specs, etc., so yes PC will get patched too. I just want a solid 30 fps on consoles...
For a country with over 1 billion people, that's pathetic.
They just want to tank you for playing!
Shadowknight, you're so right, but as usual it's the dark side!
I think it would be more accurate to say that Nintendo lives in an alternate reality. With the DS, Wii, 3DS, Wii U, and the upcoming NX, plus other mistakes like the format choices of the N64 and Gamecube, it's clear they don't live in ours.
