Dont Hate, I believe Just Cause 3 is only DX12 on PC right now. As with Dying Light, the devs are toying around with DX12 and may patch it into the XB1 version as well. I'm pretty sure that as of right now only Fable Legends and Deus Ex have confirmed console DX12 support but, based on the headline, I was surprised to see that the optimizations for Dying Light were not a result of a DX12 patch though. That means more improvements to come if DX12 does in fact get patched in.
I like the way he looks now. He doesn't look like he came from a Village People tribute band audition anymore.
EA is secretly working Citizen Kane: Extreme Sledding.
2pacalypse Now, I do understand. I even said that the system did not get more powerful in my post when I alluded to the fact that there are 120fps worth of data being shown on the TV.
The external processor, located in the TV, is interpolating frame data that the system itself is not which is why I called it post processing(that means after the console, btw). To the best of my understanding, the extra processor that is included in PSVR is also a post processor - one that rep...
Yeah, I look like an idiot for sure. It was an honest mistake I made while I'd edited for content. I was originally comparing him to Bruce Li, who was a poor martial artist in movies who tried to capitalize on Bruce Lee's namesake. You can see in my second post I spelled it right, and still didn't realize the error in the first post. Sorry about that.
BTW, you "spelt" spelled wrong. It's okay.
Shadow Knight, correct me if I am wrong, but the extra processor is only there for post processing like reprojection in order to add frames of data that PS4 cannot do natively. Those frames are added in a similar fashion to the interpolation techniques on TV's, so as I understand it the processor will not make the PS4 more powerful.
For example, all of my XB1 games run at 120fps with the setting on my TV enabled, but my system is not more powerful because of my TV's ...
What? Bruce Lee was not an actor, he was a martial artist who ended up on film (unlike Jackie Chan or Van Damme). He was highly criticized for by the masters who'd taught him when he opened up a Dojo in the US to train western culture how to fight... in a style he created called Jeet Kune Do. He was a master in his own right and few men could stand alongside him as his equal. Yip Man is one of those people.
All great points, Abizzel, plus the game is not even finished yet so it'll get better over time.
The mention of the word cerebral in the title reminded me of the Cerebral Bore from Turok 2 on N64.
More on topic, I had always assumed that Rage was an experiment in new gameplay concepts specifically so they wouldn't ruin the Doom franchise with concepts that didn't work out well enough the first time around. Doom is looking really interesting, moreso every time I hear about it. I like the forge style map editor too!
Super Halo Wars 2 Alpha: Hyper Fighting Edition EO confirmed!
Agreed. They had some really cool concepts in Alan Wake and it was a great first outing I loved pplaying through. Just like some other franchises start off a bit rough, like Assasin's Creed, the potential for A. Wake 2 is significant.
He's a boxer. How many boxers are in MMA who only know how to box? If Tyson wants to be included in the MMA, he should get in the ring like everyone else. I made an exception to the rule when Bruce Li was included, but he's arguably the best MARTIAL ARTIST who ever lived.
BTW, I would also make an exception for Chuck Norris, as long as his beard could make you tap out! ;P
Europe is a continent.
I thought PSVR required games to run at 60 fps native in order for the reprojection to work. Drive Club is 30 fps, so as I understand it only 15FPS would get to each eye.
Slightly Mad took forever to get the game out the door in the first place. I was only saying that they take their sweet time getting things done. Weird that they only announced the Oculus version though... maybe there's an NDA on PSVR because we're waiting on the release date? Sorry I wasn't clear enough with my sarcasm, that was my bad.
As soon as the cows come home.
When did the MMA make biting ears legal?
Yeah, I suppose you're right about that. I overstated things a bit, but devs can turn on things like better AA or add effects to come closer to max if they have lots of overhead though. As a general rule, I would imagine that devs don't generally leave a lot of overhead on the table though.
Well, that kind of makes a statement like the devs mention here a moot point. Every dev maxes out the hardware. Every time. Here's the problem though: if I'm supposed to be carrying groceries upstairs, why would I have rocks in the bags with them?
Efficiency is what matters, not how strong you are. We are nowhere near maxed out from an efficiency point of view because we are still seeing games using outdated rendering techniques instead of catering to the strengths...
Did anyone else find it ironic that when you read the few lines of text from the N4G home page, French Assemblée got cut off as French Ass?
