It's not that I love MS... It's that I like Sony less.

So now there's going to be an H1 and a Z1 to purchase?

Analog stick preference and better battery life.

Sad thing is Kurt Russell said that the only role he'd ever reprise was that of Snake Plisken... and look how that worked out for him. He should have done a sequel to Big Trouble instead of surfing down a viaduct in Escape From LA.

Better DX12 adoption means more games will use it on XB1 too. Features like hardware based Conservative Rasterization and Raster Ordered Views in FL12.1 on Nvidia Cards, and Async Compute in FL12.0 on AMD cards can both be implemented now in the XB1 since their GPU supports both levels. It won't be the leap that PC is getting, but will offer some improvements nonetheless.

VR support for Paragon?

Except some people here seem to think that DX12 is already being used on XB1 games just because the update required to use it was released. Win10, with the WDDM 2.0 drivers brings with it enhancements to the functionality of the XB1. So does DX12. Some DX12 features that were enabled prior to Win10 ran on the XB1, but could not run as efficiently due to running on WDDM 1.3. Other features of DX12 would not run at all without the update. When games are programmed to make use of the new featu...

Nix, they also said as long as there was a Playstation there would be backwards compatibility. They also lauded the fact that PSN was free. Many other things as well. Ken Kutaragi was actually fired for being as arrogant as he was with the Playstation brand.

The point I'm making here is that all companies shift directions, sometimes for the better and sometimes not. MS is shifting for the better after making horrible launch decisions.

Man, you people need to learn how to read. Awi said it's LIKE half a core (because the cores in consoles are weak compared to a PC).

In a year, the PC requirements will not be that expensive anymore. In two to three years, most PC's will meet the minimum requirements without any additional purchases whatsoever. The one major benefit of PC is it's ability to continue to evolve over time.

Gamestop showed signs of desperation when they started trading phones and selling phone plans, and stopped employees from having genuine conversations about games with customers only to "educate" them on every service available instead. The company is abusive to its employees and treats them as if they are disposable. Michael Vick treats dogs better...

Nintendo owners tend to be more limited in their choices by an overly protective parent company who refuses to recognize that there's more to life than just cartoons.

If you are a Nintendo owner, you also play what's trending... Mario, Zelda, Kirby, Smash Bros, etc.

Anyone want to argue that Battlefront was worth $60? That game is a hollow shell compared to its predecessors MP features, has no campaign, and still cost full retail.

It doesn't always happen that way, but it's a good example.

Yeah, same here. Never a problem before the Win 10 update but I'm sure they'll work it out soon.

Why are you here, "bruh"? This is about things the XB1 could possibly do better, not about PS4. Since we're on that subject though, my biggest complaint about PS4 is that immature owners like to come in to threads like this and try to justify their purchases to others who don't really care.

You know what's weird about the kinect though? The first version was self contained, processors and all, but the XB1 version used the XB1 processors in order to function.

I agree that this is a different side of Aaron, and also that it is good to see that Phil is highly motivating with a cohesive approach to drive his employees and the XB1 brand as a whole. I'm psyched about this year and the secrets yet revealed!

Aither, I agree that the guys' beard, hair, and jacket are all better in the ps4 version. It's weird though, because everything else is identical in both versions, so the question is why just the details on one guy and not on everything else?

Rare didn't make the new Killer Instinct. They're making Sea of Thieves. Also, they made the decision themselves to 100% support the kinect all those years ago but have recently returned to making real games again, so who knows what they have in store now that Sea of Thieves is wrapping up. I would imagine that Rare Replay helped them guage which franchises people would be most interested in seeing a new release. We should hear more by E3 at the latest.

Kingdom, I was for fifteen years and started my tenure at Funcoland. I quit about two years ago because of all the corporate mandated conversations interfering with my customer interactions. I am not a walking billboard who needs to communicate 8 million things to every customer every time. Even my regulars would talk about how poorly Gamestop began treating it's employees.

I understand that the disagrees are likely due to the fact that my joke was in poor taste, and f...

So Major Nelson isn't straight? I've always wondered about him... ;P

Edit: I like Major Nelson, his podcasts are usually informative and he doesn't come across as arrogant very often at all, especially compared to Greenburg. I even had a chance to talk to him a few times at Gamestop Managers Conferences, and he's easy to talk to.
