Space Ranger, more and more people are getting what they need out of their cell phones and set top boxes (or smart TV's). PC will take many years to phase out, but if MS doesn't have anything to transition to as PC dies, then MS dies with the transition.
Getting PC gamers hooked into MS exclusives now makes PC gamers interested in what MS has to offer, and makes them more likely to transition to an Xbox if they decide that PC is not where they want to game any more. ...
Wallstreet, there have been first hand accounts of people using Hololens that say that you can't make Hololens mess up even when you move really quickly.
Warhammer 40k anyone? You could spend more on the models than it would cost for Hololens, lol.
Absoultely right. It could be used for conducting tours, star gazing, enhancing live sports venues, how-to videos, the fashion industry, plastic surgery, engineering, and many, many other applications outside of gaming as well.
Look out! The robot invasion is coming out of your pot of chili, your toaster, and the coffee maker!!!
Ar is more limiting in some ways, yes but more liberating in others. It's kind of like comparing a pickup truck to a sports car, because while they are both vehicles, they are purpose-built for different tasks.
With AR, there are many more practical applications, while VR has more gaming related applications. If AR takes off, you could experience virtual tours, see finished architecture that is actually still under construction, get extra information in sports games whil...
That's what I thought too. In playing around with Halo 5's Forge for a while though, I found that it's fairly straight forward as long as you take things slow. Also, creating a test map that you can revisit helps make it easy to showcase how to script more complex behaviors.
Children of Morta... Kombat?
Sony showed the PS9 in a PS2 commercial, so we even know what it will look like! I'm pretty sure I heard that it's powered by a Mr. Fusion and hand delivered to your door by a man on a hoverboard wearing self-tying shoes as well.
Is there enough time to program Rousey to try to commit suicide every time she loses? That girl is more of a joke every time I read about her, and I hope Holm pounds her face into hamburger next time they meet too. Rousey is rude, full of herself, in desperate need of attention, and has big daddy Dana White to take care of all of her boo-boo's when she falls down. She doesn't deserve to be on the cover of the game any more than Mike Tyson deserved to be in Punch Out.
Yeah, exactly... and at $3000 right now, I doubt that it's being used to extend the life of the Xbox as some would suggest. The first iterations are going to be business related but as the tech evolves over time, and gets cheaper, we'll see more mainstream applications involving consumer-level benefits such as gaming.
You beat me to it. Maybe they could repeat Destiny's original story quality, then tell us a story about why there isn't one in Destiny 2 when we all ask about it.
Kingthrash, I think the part where you said, "More and more it seems like features are the main focus and games are secondary..."
I mean, QB, CD3, Fable Legends, Sea of Thieves, Scalebound, Recore, Gears 4, Halo Wars 2... and others both announced and unannounced kind of contradict your statement, don't you think?
DX12 will help out more in conjunction with the WDDM 2.0 kernel that was updated when the XB1 got Win 10. WDDM 2.0 allows for true multithreading, where all CPU cores now have direct access to the GPU, as well as optimizing some of the DX12 features already implemented on the XB1, and making a few other DX12 features available for the first time as well.
Visually, primal looks pretty similar on both consoles. I'm not really sold on the gameplay though. It still just loo...
I'd rather support a company that uses my money to make the lives of other people better, not just their own. I agree with Zidane on this one, because while both Sony and MS intend to be successful as companies only one of them really cares about more than just money.
Besides that, if you don't find the idea of getting stuff related to Minecraft worth it, don't buy into it. Nobody is forcing you to. Lots of games have real products attatched to them like t-shir...
Only the pieces of the Tri Force can coexist with one another like that. The NX will be more like a new Link on a new adventure.
Kick, push, kick, push. Amazing job, Lupesan.
It is better... at being hacked.
To be finished. The gameplay is tiring, the story is drawn out, and as an assassin they murder everybody in sight most of the time which is utter nonsense.
Take this into consideration:
MS, in their SDK for XB1, has support for multi GPU setups but only has one GPU inside the machine. It is therefore possible to come out with a new console at some point which includes a second GPU, as well as an add-on for the XB1 currently available to make that model contemporary with the new SKU. Granted, this philosophy has it's limitations, but it's similar to how upgrading a PC works as well.
