Generally i dont pay more then 15-20usd for console ports always buy them on discount. I had decided not to buy Crysis 2, however if DX 11 with high res textures does role out ill probably pick this up between 15-20usd.

Lol by now they are probably busy making the next rehash. Funny but going console didnt really result in huge sales for them. If anything the sales have dried up now. I dont think they will ever touch the 3 million sales they acheived on PC as an exclusive.

Not a console owner, however from what i am hearing this will make its way to 360 not the PS3. because CDprojeckt are a small developer and dont have the expertise to code this for the PS3, hence they wont be investing in trying to learn the completely different architechture of the PS3.

Anyways my brother is a PS3 fan too, hes playing this on his PC using a DS3, feels like playing on a super power PS3 ;-) Specially since the PC version runs in 1080p maxed out graphics.

Dont think it will run well on a laptop.

Lol for once we actually have a game that needs tactics to finish up, why complain?

People actually need to learn to use all the tools the game gives aka signs, potions etc not just play it like a hack and slash.

i havent bought a cod since MW1 anyways it is dissapointing to see rehashes sell in droves. It just puts companies off any sort of innovation.

5400d ago 5 agree3 disagreeView comment

Lol they still havent learned. First they make a game like COD. Later they are going even further in COD style of business with releasing Map packs.

@crytek

If people want to play COD style of gameplay they will buy COD. Do something innovative copying a game that itself is a rehash wont cut it.

Next gen consoles if released in the next 2 years will have no where near the power of 3 GTX 580's. Physics simply wont allow it.

3 GTX 580s requires over 1kw of power and generate a massive amount of heat. The kind of air flow needed to keep those things cool can only be provided with a full size PC tower casing(something next gen consoles will never have, they wont be coming equippped with a PSU that can handle 1KW+ of power either).

I would estimat...

Didnt they say the same thing for Crysis 2 lol, it actually turned out to be technically less impressive then its predecessor. This gen has been stagnant for along while now.

Anyone looking for a next gen experience should invest in a PC, which would cost about a lil more then getting a next gen console(when ever those do start rolling out).

@battleaxe

Windows already has the best backward compatibiliy of any platform.

I can currently play games like:

Conquest of the new world 1996 game (runs via dosbox)
warcraft 3 2003 game

Hell even old console and arcade games from 80's 90's 2000's are supported.

What other platform can even dream of getting you that sort of BC?

Goty so far ;-)

5400d ago 8 agree0 disagreeView comment

Why would you want another developer to scumb. do you really want to see a dumbed down sequel for the masses? you already got plenty of those on consoles why would you want another?

5401d ago 4 agree2 disagreeView comment

Think they will take their time in developing, they arent the dev who makes a rushed yearly release.

@scrotie

Even if that is the range you are looking at, in the long run the PC is cheaper why?

because you need a PC at home anyways, its not like you dont need one.

Getting a 300usd console or 400usd GPU to play games, every game bought for that 400usd GPU is cheaper and will be playable for very long periord of time.

Goes without saying even the 200usd GPU will play most games out today in 1080p buying a 400usd gpu i...

@scrotie

A good GPU will cost you 200usd. thats not the price of the Xbox heres the price of the xbox:

300usd
60usd per year for xbl
10-20usd premium per game bought over pc version
add in super expensive accessories

In the end a Xbox 360 is costlier then a PC.

all i can say "MILK"

Seriously bioware/ea take your time releasing games a tight yearly release schedule will only ensure the franchise gets burned to the ground.
